Guess I'll just have to go to Japan to buy a Switch 2!

Oh... that's right... I was already going to Japan in mid-June! However.... if the tariffs delay the Switch 2's release, that means I can't get one there. :( And... I'm not sure if a Japanese Switch could be fully set to English as its language, anyway? But the biggest issue would be availability... I probably can't get one without pre-ordering it there, anyway.

japanese switch is cheaper (50k yen ($350~) vs 70k yen ($480~) for international) but is region locked

if you don't know japanese, don't do it

According to Wikipedia it is a 54% total but the source isn't fleshed out.

Either way it is a lot. Probably higher than Nintendo predicted.

If the Switch 2 isn't already being sold for a large profit this could be a really big disaster.
