In Morrowind your attacks might miss depending on certain stats, but when you level up that little problem goes away. The game was so bad. If it didn't have an interesting world and writing, nobody would have liked that turd. Every door that's locked can be unlocked via lockpick or spell. No artificial barriers like that.
