Bro is playing the new DK game like it's fucking Deep Rock Galactic from Wish with all the mining he's doing to get every last piece of gold. I suspect he's doing this to make the playthrough as unwatchable as possible so we get a stream that goes ever so slightly under $150, and then he immediately has a massive crashout about how much Nintendo sucks that makes money.

The alternative is the far simpler theory that he's a smoothbrain.

I was slightly right about this, the difference was that his crashout didn't result in him hitting the goal. Dude will make a big deal about not hitting the goal twice in a row when Jaxx will whale him out tonight.

Phil's mentally unwell Switch 2 bitchfest yesterday is one the craziest he's ever had. He is even trying to pretend Nintendo made the Switch 2 artificially scarce at launch, even though it's thoroughly demonstrated that they worked hard to create stock and it was reasonably easy for people to just get one on or about release without a months long preorder.

He is not getting (enough) money for Switch 2 games, so his brain is forcing him to just invent every inane thought he (insanely) thinks he can throw out there as an attack on it.

Every single thing is about money. Even if he has to sell his dignity just to bitch about not getting enough of it.

He legit thought he would get a goal reached after the crashout with people agreeing and applauding the king with Superchats, but then kick chat openly rebelled which he then started dunking on and when one dent explained how he's wrong in every possible way while still being nice about it, he ignored everything but "DK gets better later". Gee, I wonder why he didn't hit the day goal.

Oh, and his meme of "Nintendo only survived because people bought Amiibos" will never get less insane.

Dsp simply cannot have fun with a game. DK looks like so much joy but all this dude cares about is his goal.

Simple, he deeply believes in day 1 views
But at the same time he is absolutely miserable. The only few times I seen him genuinly have a good time was when he did the blackjack mini game in the Yakuza games and when he streamed the WWE game on a fresh account.

He has deeply rooted addictive behaviour, in this case gambling, and even he knows he needs money to do that. He just resents having to get that money. Hence why he is such a piece of shit to his fans.

He can't be this disconnected from reality. Lets just estimate based on Steam the market is one billion gamers (that is how many Steam accounts there are). There is never going to be a single game that will appeal to that market. Some people dont like racing games, or sports games. Others hate FPS games, and we can safely assume that 'soulslike' games aren't for everyone.

Even the best sold game in history, Minecraft, sold 300 million copies, that is just 30% of the entire market.

That was a little more useful in the first game, IIRC because it auto-generated equipment for BT grenades. Now it just gives you a tiny bit of crystals and makes it so Sam doesn't look greasy or sunburned.

DK has skill points you get after getting a certain number of golden bananas, but given how I haven't seen this crashout prestream, I can't say whether it fits or not (most likely not).
