My reading was that it's illegal to pay someone to do sexual acts, but buying pornographic material is legal. So, unless I'm wrong. Subscribing to an OF model to just get the material she puts out would be legal, but requesting her to make specific materials would not be.

It is not illegal to view or buy porn or pay for prerecorded videos on sites like OF, but it is illegal to pay someone to do a specific sex act for you online.

Maybe I'm dumb but what's the point of making a distinction between live streaming/requests vs pre-recorded stuff?

The issue I see with that logic is that most free sites operate under ad-revenue. So hypothetically those issues could still exist.

But maybe it is a good idea, IDK. It's gunna kill cam sites more than traditional porn the way you described it, I'm not sure how problematic those places are tbh.

Prostitution has existed throughout the world for all of recorded history. Humans didn't suddenly discover you can trade sex for resources in modern society. Much of the modern world is actually harsher on prostitution now than they were historically.

If you are a Swede, couldn't you just ask someone in another country to make a request of the model on your behalf? That could be a workaround

I'm stuck in this cycle of having removed my card information from the site, but still visit to view content I've purchased in the past, and then seeing new content offered from a model I've previously enjoyed and then re-adding my card information, often at midnight when I'm horny or whatever.

You can be unsubscribed from everyone but unless you take the step of blocking profiles(which means you cant view previously purchased content from that profile), they're gonna send new messages and new content to your profile inbox

I'm not anti sex work, it's helped me a lot actually, but the structure of Onlyfans is just really hard to escape once youre hooked in

Sorry, I wasnt trying to be an ass. I know that some people struggle with addiction. But its not fair to make it illegal for everyone else. Some people are allergic to peanuts, that doesnt mean peanuts should be illegal.

You can still request porn and they can still make it for free. But you can't have a thing where you pay $100 and they perform a sex act cause you did that.

So something like a stream in which everyone was watching, and you could donate would be legal as long as the donations were seen as "tips" and not as buying something, I think. I know nothing of Swedish law.

As others have mentioned it may be targeted at exploitation, in which case it would be better to pass laws that simply outlaw pimping and regulate social media management companies directly.
