His topics were entertaining even if they were spammy and "low hanging fruit"-style trolling. I think what separates people who enjoyed duckbear from those who don't is the people who hated him fell for the bait hook, line, and sinker while those that enjoyed him reveled in how butthurt everyone else got over "his" (DailyMail's) topics. I liked the topics for the responses it got, whereas people who hated ducky were prob triggered by his topics --- What's better than roses on your piano? I just miss there being more people around in general. I could name users who I think I didn't mind, but then I realize I don't know much about them. People who I actually could identify distinct personality traits are ones I still talk to off GF. Back in the day nudojudo was always one of my favorites, although looking back, I think most of what we talked about was PotD drama stuff lol. It's probably good that isn't much of a thing anymore, although it's admittedly a guilty pleasure. That's why I miss (miss, not like) folks like ICOYAR. But you know, Susan, the sweetest person on PotD even poked fun at him so sometimes people are asking for it, huh? Also, I know what you mean, it's more about the recognizable names than me actually knowing much about the person behind them. The examples I mentioned in OP are exceptions though.
