...a gigantic, fully grown American cockroach flies into your face and tries its best to gross you out by crawling all over you. It is a magical roach that will have access to you no matter the situation. It's perfectly harmless and won't bite or anything though; it's just gross.

By halving the amount of money you get, you can narrow down the time frame so you can better plan around your unwelcome visitor. If you take the $1.25 million and choose February 29th, then it'll be the 28th on non-leap years.

So basically 12 times a year you get bothered by a big flying roach, and by lowering your prize you can narrow down the time frame per month so you don't need to be paranoid about it as much.

Oh yeah and I forgot to mention, the roach will bother you until you kill it. You can swat it, spray it, whatever. It's body/entrails must be cleaned up like any regular roach.
