I saw How To Train Your Dragon at least 3 times in theaters. twice in regular format, once in IMAX 3D.

can't think of many films I saw more than once in theaters, at least during their initial release. Have seen theatrical re-releases for stuff like Star Wars (Episode 3, Rogue One). I did see Episodes 7 and 8 twice in theaters.

I saw Wreck it Ralph twice.

I don't think I've ever seen a movie in theaters more than once...

2-3 times. I know my dad and I went to see the original Avengers at least 2 times, possibly 3 I cant remember

Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

Saw it with my brothers in my home town, saw it at a drive-in with my parents, saw it with my cousins on vacation.

Fell asleep every time.

I was quite young at the time.

When I was in the Navy in the 90s I went to the theatre a lot when we were in port when I lived in the ship to get away from the ship. It was also dirt cheap at the base theatre. Like $2 for a movie. Plus Id watch with different friends.

These were movies I watched 4 or 5 times at the theatre at the time.

I saw Jackass Number 2 three times in a theater. That is my record. It was a big film with my friends in college.

Way more than 12. I saw Ang Lee's Hulk every day in theaters for at least a month.

Other than having to leave a faulty showing and go to another showing later, that's not something I've ever done.

Saw Infinity War twice

As far as I can remember I've seen quite a few movies twice including recently Nightmare Before Christmas. The only movie I might have seen more than twice in theatres was Independence Day at maybe 3 times.

I watched Wall-E, the original Lilo & Stitch, and Hancock three times each in the theater, so I re-watched them twice.

i know i saw fellowship of the ring at least three times, maybe more. definitely that one

I saw Jurassic Park (the original)

three time in the theatre.

I actually did watch TDK twice in theaters. Only time I've ever done more than once.

The first two LotR movies as part of a full day trilogy marathon of extended editions leading into the midnight showing of RotK.

The Ring, exactly 7 days after the first time.

Pretty sure I saw the dark knight 3 times

Twice, two different times.

First was Guardians of the Galaxy. Went with my brother, then took my younger cousin to see it later.

Then again with Black Panther, I went to see it myself but then later someone insisted on sending to see it. I told them I already had, but they kinda wouldn't take no for an answer and I saw it again.

Once that i can remember. It was LotR The Two Towers. A free ticket to Two Towers came with the dvd of Fellowship of the Ring extended edition. I didn't know anyone who wanted the tickets. So I just went oe afternoon and used them up

I'll watch movies I've already seen later on when it's at home. But I don't typically do that in the theater.

4 times, interstellar, counting the new release on IMAX

I think Batman Begins holds the personal record at five theater viewings. It cannot be overstated how much that was the exact Batman movie I'd been craving for years up to that point.

original avatar 3 times. mainly for the 3d since it was such a new and big thing at the time.

I watched Finding Nemo with my family in cinemas and then our school decided to take us to see it

Jurassic Park.
I saw it at least 7 times.
Runner up would prolly be The Blair Witch Project, which would have been at least 5 times.

Saw far from home and guardians of rhe galaxy 3 5 times

The only thing that comes to mind is Air Force One. I watched it twice with different family members.

I saw Spider-man No Way Home at least 12-13 times while it was in theaters, also counting the few times I saw that extended re-release edition.

Its simply the greatest Marvel movie of all time, Infinity War/Endgame (I count them as one movie/experience) are a close second though.

oh yea, I think I also watched Get Out and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse about three times in theaters too.

maybe also the first MCU Spider-Man movie, but I could be misremembering.

I saw The Force Awakens twice in 3D. I enjoyed it both times.

I had a friend who really like the movie Gladiator. Since he was buying the tickets, I ended up seeing it three times.

Probably Dumb and Dumber, saw it at least 10x

I saw Revenge of the Sith in theaters 3 times when I was a kid

I saw Toy Story 3 nine times when it was in theaters.

I want to say three. Not because I especially loved the movie but just circumstances and getting dragged along.

I saw it once on my own.
I got dragged to see it with parents.
I got dragged to see it with sister and her husband.

Don't even remember which movie at this point.

i dont think i rewatched a movie at the theater.

if anything, i watch it at the theater once then i rewatch it at home or a friend's place...

I've technically seen quite a few movies twice in the movie theater, but the viewings were years apart. My local drive-in theater plays a fair amount of old movies every year. For example I saw The Neverending Story in 1984 or 85 and 2022. That was a fun night. The first movie was The Neverending Story, then The Karate Kid, and finally The Lost Boys.

Considering the last time I've been in a theater was watching X3. I use to say that but now not too sure. It might have been Logan. Anyway previous to that if it was a genre movie 97-2006. I saw it. So of the Major ones That would be Lotr, the matrix, Austin powers X-men trilogy. I remember watching LOTR with my dad, then watching it with my friends. So thats at least twice for at least Fellowship. Matrix I think just once, Austin just once and X-men just once. Dawn of the dead remake my friend and I liked so thats possible. So thats at least Fellowship and DOTDR

I know I saw American Beauty twice.

In High School, I saw Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey probably 6 or 7 times at the dollar theatre. Nothing going on on a weekend night, the Street Fighter 2 machine was broken at the local arcade, or I was just looking to kill some time.

I want to say 2... I can't think of a 3 specifically.

I know I saw Cloverfield, HTTYD twice. There's others, like the first Bay Transformers.

It's been so long since I've seen a movie in theaters *at all*. I didn't typically go back to see the same movie again, though. The most likely example was probably the last Harry Potter movie (y'know, back before the series was poisoned). I know I went to see it with my cousins the day it released, and I *probably* went again with my mom sometime after that.
