That's what happens when you:

-deregulate to the extreme
-focus on getting things done at low cost
-only allow for "internal discipline"

China has come a long way in the last 40 years, but the problem of government and state-owned enterprise corruption isn't going anywhere anytime soon because you can't speak up against the government without becoming a target, so you're basically relying on the party to police itself, which is just not going to happen. Half the time, the "anti-corruption" bodies are just being used to go after political enemies of the people in power to begin with.

Putin saw the ramifications of this when he started his war against Ukraine and realized that cronies and sycophants tend to *not* do their jobs well, and China is going to see this same problem too.

And this is why Im not trusting any Chinese amusement parks.

Edit: This guy using "CCP" is suspicious (Seems a Chinese person would use CPC? I dunno), and googling he doesn't live in China (anymore - lives in NY now), and allegedly works for/with The Epoch Times, associated with Falun Gong and spreading covid-19 & pro-trump misinfo. I wouldn't trust his perspective exactly, even if the happenings are legit. I'd have to research more on them, which I'm...not terribly interested in doing right now.
The channel being a ton of anti-China news is kind of cringe.

Of course we are. The Trump administration is less competent than the Chinese Communist Party. It's just that, *for now*, the worst excesses of the Trump administration have not come to fruition. But you can bet that, all else held equal, if the Trump administration had the power of the Chinese Communist Party, the country they ran would be far worse than Communist China is right now. China has a shit-ton of problems, but you can bet that if Trump had the unchecked power that the CCP has in China, the country he created would have all of the problems of current China (human rights abuses and government corruption, which we're already seeing in the USA) but none of the perks of current China (infrastructure development and modernization).

The guy pretty much has a website (and what appears to be similar to a Patreon page) for just anti-China content. Much like you can't trust the CCP, you can't just believe anybody who shits on them either. Some of what Falun Gong teaches is fucking crazy.

In my own experience, "CCP" and "CPC" are essentially interchangeable. Professors in China used the term "CCP" when speaking in English all the time, and they were CCP party members

Because regulations means having someone oversee you and hold you accountable. That is *not* what the Chinese Communists want.

I do not think China really feels the need to *dominate* the world though - they're doing just fine enjoying the financial benefits of Trump's stupid-ass trade war
