I don't hear about this one much. If Superman 1 is known for being the first Reeve film, Superman 2 is known as the best one, and Superman 4 is known as the worst one...what is Superman 3? I guess this is the "who posted" of the Reeve movies.

No. Its pretty wretched. Programmer dude was extremely unfunny and the biggest threat to superman being by accident is ridiculous.

But I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the Clark vs Superman fight and when the villain gets... assimilated (the only word I can think of) is fucking nightmare fuel.

There are couple of decent ideas that could be basis for a good superman movie but this is not it. It's bad.

Reeve has always been and always will be my Superman. The movie is below average and did him no service but I think it is mostly magnified by how good I and II were as a whole that makes III seem worse than it is. IV is one I just outright forget about.

Oh 3 is the one with Richard Pryor. I liked that one. That part where the chick got turned into a robot always freaked me out.

Yeah...but Lana WAS way better than Lois here...
Also this one is annoying because it feels like half of it Donner is acting drunk like the scene he randomly puts on skis and cape to fall out a window. Sure better made than four with some good stuff...but so much annoyance to wad through.

Never saw it.

I saw it once in the early 80's. I remember drunk Superman, that was about it.
