Shame KC couldn't pull off the sweep of Washington but it's kind of hard to beat anybody if you spot them 5 first inning runs. At least they made it interesting by tying it in the 8th before Carlos Estevez unraveled again. They're more than likely not going to make a wildcard spot but at least there's been some semblance of offense over the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the once brilliant starting pitching has been decimated by injuries and whatever the hell is going on with Seth Lugo. At least old man Wacha and rookie revelation Noah Cameron have been holding down the fort. I remember people buzzing about Cameron in spring training this year but I don't believe anybody expected him to be this effective and reliable.
