I am aware, it's anywhere from sex-neutral to sex-repulsed.

As an excuse for "I can't be fuckin' because I'm ace so calm down," followed by admitting to this being an actual pattern of behavior, I stop giving the benefit of the doubt and instead of start calling out their contradictory bullshit.

I remember the Wal-Mart topic. The way he originally talked about it she was an immigrant who couldn't speak English and was in a really bad way trying to take take of her kids and he paid for her groceries and then used that as an in with her. Then as soon as she did something with him she completely ghosted him (probably felt her debt was "paid") At no point did he ever mention prostitution or any transactional nature to it. It seemed very different than a traditional prostitution situation.

I even remember mentioning how I used to see this type of dynamic a lot when I was in the Navy in South America and travelling. You would buy a woman something as simple as dinner or give them money for their kids and they would feel indebted to you and it led to very lopsided dynamics. You also see this with people with money in places like Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and a number of other Asian countries. You see huge age gaps between men and woman there with older men taking advantage of the women. I think it is sad but so many other people view it as ok.
