* The Translator Device is literally the Scan Visor.
* The Nomai are basically the Chozo.
* Nomai Ruins are basically Chozo Ruins.
* The Anglerfish are the Metroids.
* The Ghost Matter is the Phazon.
* Your ship is like Samus's Ship.
* Your spacesuit is like Samus's power suit.
* The Scout is the Morph Ball.
* The Hearthian Explorers are like Bounty Hunters.
* The planets roughly correspond to Prime 1 biomes.
* The wrecked "Vessel" is the Prime 1 "Wrecked Ship".
* You unlock new areas using knowledge, instead of upgrades.
* The Quantum stuff is like... X-Ray Visor stuff I guess.
* The Dark Bramble is... the Space Pirates?

Anything other ideas?

the Outer Wilds DLC has sections that could be considered similar to the Metroid Dread stealth/chase sections, or perhaps the SA-X sections :thinking_face:

(it'd be a stretch tho) (but so's the whole thread)

nobody's played the Outer Wilds DLC but me tho
