JaiCSC posted... Yeah it's shocking considering his giant ego and abrasive personality.I mean that hasn't been a problem in his WWE return. I think the issues in AEW have to fall squarely on Tony Khan's shoulders for allowing the Elite to harass people. Hayame_Zero posted... Still one of the most shocking moments, that was topped only by his WWE return. The buildup to his debut was incredible. Tony kept dodging questions about whether Punk was coming back, that particular Rampage was announced as being in Chicago, Darby Allin dropping the 'best in the world' line during a promo leading up to it, and nobody would say 'yeah he's signed' until he walked out onto the stage. --- 'We're not gonna make it, are we? [LFAQs-redacted-quote] This. He was hurt and he spent his press conference time to bury the company and a former friend that everyone agrees that he screwed over. And both sides have said that Punk was the one who threw the first punch in the locker room. AEW does have a reputation of creative disorganization at worst, but I've not heard any toxic behavior out of AEW on that level since he left. And I think we haven't heard anything from Punk is because WWE just has stricter control and expectations of him now. --- ...I think I'm done here... ... Copied to Clipboard!

And both sides have said that Punk was the one who threw the first punch in the locker room. "On that level" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. We're getting stories on a weekly basis and have done for years. Just no one else has the balls to air their problems on a Media scrum because they would be fired. Even Moxley says AEW is the most toxic place he has ever worked. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] No what you just said is revisionist history. How the fuck does 1 injured man and a girl who isn't an athlete in a small room "jump" a gang of 10 men who just burst in yelling at them? That's not how you "Legit want to talk" in fact CM Punk had tried to have a private meeting with the Bucks and HR and it was the Bucks that cancelled it. You're being hugely comically absurdly dishonest because you don't like Punk. You're right, he was unprofessional at the media scrum and I'm with you, he should not have been. However the part you're ignoring is that for months the Elite were insulting and making shots at Punk, including Adam Page going off script in a live promo on TV to accuse CM Punk of getting Colt Cabana fired, which Punk didn't even do. Punk went to HR, Punk went to Tony. They did nothing but reward The Elite. Punk's unprofessional media scrum rant was a receipt for dozens of incidents that had been building up and you're a liar if you pretend otherwise. You're also crazy to say "If you want to talk to someone, what you do is form a posse, burst into a small room they are in and yell at them when they are injured and holding a small dog and next to a small girl." They wanted a fight and started a fight. There's a reason why Punk wasn't fired there and then. He was not in the wrong (for beating them up, not for the media scrum rant) Let's not forget, Punk came back early while still injured to be squashed by Moxley on free TV because Moxley wasn't willing to lose to Punk unless he squashed him first. Tony approved that Hogan/HBK level stupidity You can hate CM Punk and think he's an asshole and the worst and a terrible wrestler. But there's no way you can square what happened in AEW as anyone's fault other than Tony Khan. Tony allowed all the top talent in AEW (And still does) to harass and bully people without moderation. Punk and Cody Rhodes are just the only 2 that had leverage to fight back. I don't see how you can deny any of that regardless of your thoughts on the in ring product. Tony can't say no to his favorites and his favorites can be absolute Joffrey Baratheons and Randall Weems. Christ Punk can work with Logan Paul without incident. You really think Jack Perry is more unpleasant than Logan Paul? --- http://i.imgur.com/VwJsmAR.gifv ... Copied to Clipboard!

Hes been in WWE how long now without incident? [LFAQs-redacted-quote] Literally no one has absolved Punk of responsibility for it. I literally just said he was unprofessional and shouldn't have done it. Tony sat right next to him and did nothing. You're absolving Tony of blame when he's the one in charge. Everything Punk and the Elite were allowed to do, falls on him. --- http://i.imgur.com/VwJsmAR.gifv ... Copied to Clipboard!
