This gets even worse with liberalism basically needing the extra money sloshing around from capitalism to fund its social programs. The super wealthy only get to keep shoring up their power till the next time people actually realize the stock market is in a massive bubble and the emperor has no clothes, at which point they lose the foundation of their power. Day to day things change but we personally I think we are going to slow our progress and become a slowly more rural society again, at least more evenly based. --- We rode on the winds of the rising storm, We ran to the sounds of the thunder.
