Tried Integrated Strategies. Confusing as hell but the rewards are nice. I'll probably mess around with this another time. Then there's...Reclamation Algorithm and Contingency Contracts. Haven't messed with either of those modes. Man this game has quite a lot of stuff going on.

Man I can really feel the nerfs to Khalipe. Dont get me wrong, shes still good, and it was absurd to have a tank that could dish out the amount of damage that she could in the beta (AoE no less), but I miss being able to singlehandedly wipe stages with her lol

If I remember correctly the average was 35 pulls or so? The soft pity starts kicking in at 50 pulls without a 6*, increasing the chance of getting a 6* by 2% each pull. I've rarely had to do more than 60 pulls for a 6*, although my record is 80.

Integrated Strategies is a massive roguelite mode. We get a new iteration of it yearly(IS 6 should be dropping around December/January) with monthly updates for it. From what I remember the rewards are mostly a welfare unit(All of them have passives specific for their own IS version so they're kinda bad outside of it, besides the IS 6 one), loads of upgrade materials, and some exclusive skins and furniture, you won't get any gacha currency from it though.

Reclamation Algorhithm is an exploration/base building mode where you have to forage for different resources and food while you slowly explore the map. The rewards are similar to IS, loads of upgrade materials mostly. I honestly haven't touched this one that much since I'm not a fan of it.

There's also Stationary Security Service which I think you unlock from building a level 1 module. Its the main source of module upgrade materials, although the main bottleneck for those are the module data blocks that can't be farmed. This mode is a "card game" mode, you make a team of 20 operators and draw 10 at random at the start of each level, and there's a currency you get from enemies that lets you draw more operators. There's also a stacking mechanic where you can deploy a unit on top of another, the old unit will be removed but it will leave a small buff for the new unit that will be transfered to any unit you deploy on top of that one. You can stack up to 5 buffs this way. Each run is 6 levels.

Woo! I got Nayuta to MLB / +3 in only 150 pulls despite being a 1% unit. Yay! Now I'm not totally out of gems in time for Liberallio, and I can save my golden tickets for her and probably Red Hood (need 5 more for core 7). Last time I had luck this good in this game was... drumroll... the last (half) anniversary, with Little Mermaid. Coincidence?

And I believe maintenance should start in about half an hour, which means 4 1/2 hours until I lose all my pulls again. Because I swear to God I have never gotten a banner unit without reaching the 100 pity. So double that for Erza and Lucy

Probably because it uses a spark system. But a soft pity where the rate goes up after a certain amount of pulls would've been fucking nice.

I knew a game that has both pity system (max 60 pulls guaranteed highest rarity character in the pool, out of 8 character pool per banner), and spark system (180 guaranteed the featured banner character). Dupe also has no purpose (beyond true limited units) because it gives you currency to buy fragments for every dupe you get instead of straight fragments (which only true limited units have the previlege to).

You can get about 10 pulls per week.

It made no money.

Eh, BD2 has both and it's fine
Lost Sword has that but it's not making much so that's true, though I think that has more to do with the gameplay

Welp, the fans are very mad. This is a pretty unsexualized series, so people are accusing Wright Flyer Studios for trying to pull this type of desperate shit again. Ruining the sanctity of the series and all that, calling those in charge clueless. I mean last time they carpet nerfed the game and then released a swimsuit for the most popular girl Aoi, which was either intentional or an unfortunate coincidence, which many people called tasteless, so there's always been this sort of sentiment that those in charge needs to treat this game with a bit more respect. I dunno what Jun Maeda actually feels in all of this. I don't think he cares that much.

The ASMR is also done by Isuzu, who is my top 3 favorite design in this game cuz I love the color green, and she has big personalities. She's a part of the sextuplet squad who hilariously has a secret crush on the "oldest sister" of the 6. They make a lot of subtle nod to it that she's basically attached at the hips to her oldest sister in a lot of different scenes, and there's a big confirmation of her crush when one of the other squad's girl becomes a ghost and overhears Isuzu talking to herself about how much she loves her big sister. In a more normal state of being, she's unlocking locks all over the base as a prank and also unlocking the hearts of other girls by giving them sensual massages and asking them for their secrets.

The ASMR is also probably written by the other main writer. The sextuplet squad is generally not written by Jun Maeda, and they generally have a very small role in the main story.

I have no strong feelings for it one way or another. If it's a one off thing, it's kind of a cute experiment. Currently HBR earns a lot more money off things like album releases and merchs than the actual gacha itself I think. So I don't think it's as clueless as people say it is. Also it just kinda fits Isuzu's personality. There are maybe like 3-4 other characters in the entire game where they can do an ASMR, like Risa-mama or I dunno Nanamin.

Now if they came out with an Aoi ASMR, I think it's gonna sell like crazy and then everybody will just quit the series on the spot

Nikke, for the first time I cleared chapters at above the recommended power level - but only barely
Latest boss in ch 42 was 683200 power and I was at 683945. Literally not even 1000 over, and the stat penalties skyrocket quickly if you're even a fraction of a percent below the rec lol

Great campaign chapters, much better than the overextended/filler chapters before this

Alright I've chatted on their Discord, taken their survey, and spun the gacha wheel. Hopefully one of those avenues results in Beta Access. I don't really understand the team-based coordinates thing so I'm not gonna bother with that unless some people here want to form a team to try our luck (I think it's a team of 3 so, we probably have enough).

Spending all my Sanity in Arknights right now spamming event stages. I very quickly gave up on the S Stages, lol. Couldn't even beat the first one lol. Gonna focus on collecting the important rewards from the event then go back to Pretty Derby for now. Need to prepare some Medium Distances horses for the upcoming ChanMi.

Yeah, the S stages are often difficult, even for people who have been playing for a while.

Arknights also dropped another event called Vector Breakthrough, whose final levels are even harder that the Masses Travel S stages. I got stuck on the final level for an hour or two, but finally figured it out with a stacked team, I even had to borrow the Ines.

Lucia is like a huge boost to Rupture Agents so I'd go with her for your Yixuan, unless you wanna start building an Anomaly team with Vivian down the line. Alternatively with Vivian/Astra you could just run Piper and have a team right there I guess.

Oh and with how fast Jufufu is already rerunning I think you'd see Lucia again sooner than Vivian.

I read the whole first chapter and that was it, skipped all story afterward.
Nothing peeves me more than a story stating crucial world info in the opening lines and then NEVER repeating them (or finding ways to reinforce these points). I was kind of lost afterward, could have watched a vid with the intro again but figured fuck it, this is a huge red flag in writing and I aint dealing with it. With a target date in the first half of the year though, that could be too far out for me to care anymore by that point.

Kinda like with GFL2, where no mainline chapters have been added for like 10 months or some shit, just some side stories and event stories, so I don't care anymore about the story

Granted, the reason for rewriting is likely different than just basic writing issues. Not sure if the incel drama was part of the rewrite reason, if they'll remove / lessen non-MC guys' roles, etc

One thing I saw that I'm not sure is true is that the storyline bit for CZN is that the Korean text has a completely different tone than the Japanese and English. In the Korean, all the other characters dislike the MC and insult him all the time. Whereas in the other versions they all like him.

I was stuck on Tribe Tower 390 (Mother Whale), but Nayuta makes the fight a joke. I don't even think it matters what other units you bring as long as Nayuta bursts, the projectiles and even mobs don't hurt you. If you mistime Crown taunt / Crown dies, it doesn't even matter, Nayuta carries on just fine.

From 31-C, we only got Bun-chan and Bon-chan, but in return we ended up getting one of the most faithful Bon-chan I think was humanly possible. Supposedly her acting was top notch

She's still a good laneholder but as a defender there are often better ones, who also don't cost so much.

She used to be the greatest, capable of tanking almost everything, but nowadays stat bloat means there's a lot more stuff that can break through her defenses. She's still great at stalling anything that attacks slowly and dealing with lower pressure lanes all by herself.

Like I said multiple times before, my gold tickets are for Anis only lol. NO WAY IN HELL I'm spending it on anyone else. It's reserved for best girl only. For everyone else, I'm relying on luck. Which worked out pretty well so far. It was just dogshit with Nayuta.
