What groyper memes were on the bullets? An anti-fascist song and "hey fascist catch?" There is like one playlist listened to by a small amount of people where groypers used "Ciao Bella," that's not a "meme."

Saying "he used the same tracksuit as an obscure Pepe drawing when he was 15" also isn't "he's a groyper," man. The evidence coming out is he himself said he hated Kirk's hatred and his family is now on record saying his political views had shifted left.

This does not show he was "connected with the subculture." Nick Fuentes was not as prominent in 2018. He wore a tracksuit when he was 15. There is one drawing of Pepe wearing that tracksuit. Do you realize how tenuous a connection that is? It is completely unclear if there's any connection in a photo his mother is taking

I dunno, as far as the groyper thing goes, I feel like if Taylor was one, he wouldn't have used Kirk's hatred as justification.

Personally, I don't think it matters what the messages say or whether they're legit. MAGA has the best possible narrative they could have asked for to justify their existing hatreds to themselves, and Trump has his official casus belli for his war against his political opponents. There's only one way this can go now, and it's not going to be pleasant.

Im deeply disappointed that some evidence connecting his motive to a trans person has finally come out. A white kid from Utah committed the is crime, but the worst people will shift the blame to the roommate. You understand his defense attorney is going to be getting literally all of this and that it's not just the FBI?

This is his indictment from Utah prosecutors and they're including the basics of the case. They'll be turning over everything they have to his defense attorneys pretty soon

You're right it's not direct proof, but "I shot Kirk because of his hatred" gets us 90 percent of the way there and I don't see a reason to pretend otherwise.

If those messages were all legit, I think it is likely that this guy was raised to be a hateful bigot and when he went out on his own and met someone he cared about who challenged all that programming... as someone raised within the right wing he wanted to address the problem the way the right wing talks about dealing with it.

Note - I'm not saying every conservative is some hateful person who wants to kill people, but right wing extremists have a prominent voice.

Do you think Utah prosecutors are going to risk their bar licenses, their careers, open themselves to prosecution, etc. by withholding evidence on the slammiest or slam dunk cases imaginable?

There is no controversy. There's nothing to obfuscate. Robinson shot Kirk. They have his DNA. They have his admissions. He turned himself in. Sure, it's possible they'll commit egregious ethical violations over the course of this prosecution but it is far from likely and would make their lives harder.

In this case, I'm expecting the prosecution included this because it's basically a slam dunk and they don't need more: "I killed him because..." is an admissible statement for court.

We don't know everything but it's definitely trending one way more than others here. It might turn out he was a staunch conservative except trans rights and I suspect his views weren't super coherent.
