Because it was taking a product that was popular and putting in some super basic jokes that were super funny to me as a 12-year old, and then slightly matured into something with similar stupid jokes, but Im not ashamed to listen to. But really, I dont know, the weird world of the internet in like 2007 was a vibe. Its hard to really be able to justify liking something like an abridged series. It was stupid and dumb and a relic of its time, but DBZA and YGA both just kept going on and on for so long its this weird exception to modern internet culture. The VAs are all good as well (once they settle into things), compared to some other series that don't do the best job on the voice aspect. You can have whatever opinions you'd like about their characterization choices or specific vocal tics, that's subjective enough, but TFA is a legitimately talented crew on a performance level. Because the jokes are funny, but it's even funnier knowing that the real dialogue was completely different.
