I keep coming back to this Twitter/Bluesky post someone made last October: "it was kinda cool those three weeks Kamala campaigned on "Republicans are weird and we're not going back" before deciding to pivot to "Republicans are my friends and they're good and we can do Republican policy even better than they can," the exact same strategy that already lost to Trump."

Thing is they contributed to getting Trump elected despite Harris wanting a two state solution and Trump wanting to turn Gaza into a resort. The CoG clearly lack critical thinking skills at best or are bad faith actors at worst. But as that topic ended, the important part isn't as much what Biden said/promised he would do but what he actually did. That is, not get out of the way to allow an actual primary without him in it considering his clear mental decline. There was a primary as I was corrected on, but having a sitting President in one makes it utterly irrelevant and just a formality. And yeah, him doing what he could to get Harris not to distance herself from him to defend some semblance of a legacy (which turned out to be Trump getting reflected) was a bad move as well.

I did the same things minus social media as i don't use it, and tried to convince my conservative family to abandon Trump, the same thing I suggest people do last year in favor of getting mad at liberals.
