I have never seen a Republican do anything to defend, protect, or shield a transgender person from any sort of accountability or criticism before.

I imagine the answer would be something along the lines of claiming "transgenderism" is inherently predatory or pedophilic, possibly capped off with some creepy tangent on the history of age of consent laws and child marriage and how it's only modern woke leftist brainwashing that says it's wrong.

just a heads up - "a transgender" is generally considered by trans people to be inappropriate as "trans" is a descriptor for a person, not a noun meaning a type of person. it's like saying "a gay" or "a black" - just sort of inherently dehumanizing phrasing

No, they think that's a "leftist hoax", and all the media they consume tells them, constantly, that transgender is nearly synonymous with pedophilia. Basically those crazy anti-gay ads from the 70s all over again.

Trans. They say they abhor pedophiles but they defend any that are of their own kind. So their hate is performative and not genuine.

I think those bathroom laws means it transgender.
