Vets will also recommend putting a pill inside a small piece of cheese to get your dog to eat their medicine. I don't think there's any amount of chocolate that a vet would ever recommend you give a dog.

Of course that cheese trick often only works once or twice at which point the dog often figures out they can eat the cheese and spit out the pill.

I mean youre not gonna kill a dog by giving it some cheese. Chocolate on the other hand can severely harm a dog even in relatively low amounts
