Blue_Popo 10/12/25 2:35:16 AM #1:	Marvel vs DC is back - Results (16 votes) MCU 56.25% (9 votes) 9 DCU 43.75% (7 votes) 7 On the live action side MCU: captain America Brave New World, Daredevil Born Again, Thunderbolts, ironheart, Fantastic Four First Steps DCU: Superman, Peacemaker Season 2 I didn't watch any of the animated stuff. It was a good year for both but I'm taking MCU. I preferred both Thunderbolts and F4 to Superman (all great) I preferred Daredevil and I can't believe I'm saying this Ironheart to peacemaker Season 2 (but I enjoyed all 3) Only thing I didn't like was cap Bnw. Brave New World was just a dumb popcorn movie, Thunderbolts was okay but also felt somehow very low budget and ancillary compared to everything else, and while its nice that they finally made an enjoyable F4 film it was still only kind of okay. PurestProdigy 10/12/25 5:47:29 AM #3:	Captain America was one of those movies where almost all the good parts were in trailers and they "spoiled" part of the movie in advertising. I can't get over Kingpin being alive via comicbook logic in Daredevil. Only thing that will bother me going forward, the season was great otherwise. Thunderbolts* was a return to form, but most people are probably too jaded at this point to go see anything or suggest to their friends to see anything that isn't going to be surefire entertainment (Spider-man, Avengers, etc). I liked it a lot, it will be a movie I won't skip when I go to do a Marvel movie marathon. I think I either didn't finish the first or second episode of Ironheart. I feel like another show or anime I was watching was airing at the time and I didn't feel like doing both. Then my sister who I was account sharing Disney+ decided to cancel her sub to protest along with everyone earlier in the year so my viewing history is kaput and I'll have to probably start the series over since I don't remember where I was. RIP. Fantastic Four was a blast. Superman took me by surprise. I didn't expect it to be that good. Peacemaker s2 was decent. I wasn't that hype for season 1 either. I enjoyed TB well enough, but Superman was a breath of fresh air. It gave us the first Superman since Christopher Reeve that actually had earnest heroism in his heart. It was hopeful and charming and fun and just the right amount of silly. --- The food here is terrible. McDonald's doesn't alter marketing schedules and Red Hulk was spoiled by a Happy Meal toy a year before it even came out so the harm was already done long before showing Red Hulk in the trailer. Are we including older DC movies? The Adam West Batman flick, the first two Donner Superman films and Burton's two Batman movies are, imo, better than Nolan's trilogy and Shazam (which I did enjoy). I was high on Watchmen for a bit, but it lost its luster for me and while it had its good qualities, I don't consider it a particularly good adaptation of the source material. I'd also rewatch the second Suicide Squad (maybe) and the new Superman before I'd revisit any of the ones you mentioned. --- The food here is terrible. If argue Thunderbolts idea of putting underpowered side characters against a mentally unstable for that much more powerful is more unique. PeteyParker posted... I agree it would be better as a surprise and the story is written like red hulk is a surprise but there's nothing else to sell that movie on and this is coming from a fan of Sam Wilson Also I'm happy to see the poll being almost a tie.
