That's fine. Let the states that greatly supported Trump get fucked over then. There are states (primarily blue ones) that will use their funds to help supplement those on SNAP.

I really hope people who still have hope that we'll get another democrat president or a president in general after Trump doesn't think for a second he or anyone in his circle will pay for what they're doing, have done and plan on doing in the future, the justice system is not for them, it's for us pleabs.

again. the supreme court gave him complete immunity from any criminal accountability, up to and including the assassination of political enemies. contempt means nothing to him, he is literally above the law.

I do NOT want Americans to go hungry just because the Radical Democrats refuse to do the right thing and REOPEN THE GOVERNMENT. Therefore, I have instructed our lawyers to ask the Court to clarify how we can legally fund SNAP as soon as possible.

This angers me so much because that's exactly what he's doing. He IS using the hunger of Americans as a playing piece to get Democrats to cave. If he doesn't want Americans to starve then just fucking use the emergency funds.

Its not fine. Only a handful of states are doing that, its not sustainable, and the money wont be reimbursed so the states stepping up will be fucked over extra hard for it in the long term.

trump cant face justice unless the next president takes the sensible route and demolishes the current supreme court. they have ruled that trump is above the law, a government branch empowered by the constitution to act as a check against dictatorship has empowered a dictator, that is indisputable proof that the supreme court is broken at a fundamental level and needs to be remade.

It's fine in a sense that people let this happen and needs to feel the pain of their consequences. As for us who didn't won't for Trump, like was always do, we must endure and rely on each other to pull through.. Believe me, I know it's fucked up. But this is all the more reason why we must, WE MUST push for winning the midterms in wide margins. Get this fucker and clowns out of office and bring back sanity in government.

I had a feeling each person on SNAP will be getting partial payments this month, maybe 50% of what they usually get? They will need to stretch out their food budgets.
