I like FF8. I just don't like how it pivoted mid story to a mess. I also don't like the monster levelling system. If someone has a mod to remove that and make it a normal levelling system I'm fine with that.

Actually I love all of FF8

Some parts of the gameplay weren't as strong but the game's environments and overall atmosphere were very well done. Parts like the dollet landing, the battle between the Gardens, and the Lunar base docking were pretty epic to see, and of course I firmly believe that it has the best music in all of Final Fantasy. The town themes are amazing and fit the environments to a T, and I find the final dungeon and final battle music to be incredible

Same, also there's no other game that has as fun to use limit breaks as 8, ignoring the brokenness of it, it was super fun to not just be watching a cutscene to do one.

Also personal inputs during cutscenes were hilarious, you get that incredible music but Squall is spinning around like an idiot or going into a wall cause couldnt' see shit.

That's because you have to be careful when playing in different regions, as doing so sometimes spreads that rule to other regions. The worst rule to spread is the random rule.

When you play TT, you play in order to win their cards. The reasons for this is either because you want the best cards, or you want to turn the cards into a useful spell to use in battle. However, different regions have different rules in how the game is played. Playing in a different region will sometimes spread that rule to all the regions. This can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the rule.

I like triple triad because it helps me become massively OP before the second mission.

I like FF8 cause im massively OP before the second mission.

Also i spent more time playing Blitzball than playing the story in FFX, sometimes the side content just be that good.

I've not really played either game, but the Geekenders' podcast recently talked about mahjong and how they wished someone would make a good video game version of it that taught the right way to play.

Someone in the comments mentions that there are people who only play FFXIV to play mahjong because it's the best (or at least one of the best, other commenters refute them a bit) free mahjong game there is. They have the Mahjong Master title sitting at level 15 in starter gear.

final fantasy 8 is my favorite installment do to its story and characters

i feel it has the best cinamatics (as in its camera work and the like) of any final fantasy

the music is just amazing

i love its combat to i like that enemies level with you keeps a sense of challange through out the game but you can still grow far stronger if you upgrade your weapons and junction properly

i just love this game
