We onto act 3 now and if the first enemy gauntlet is anything to go by, shits about to get real hard
Finally got to Act 3.
Did the Songclave snail shaman and I fuck up tremendously?
Is that moth near the upper choral chambers for real? I spent 25 minutes pixel perfectly pogo jumping between FOUR SETS of buzz saws and that's the only way to get to him? There's a fan beneath it. Have to break a hidden wall to start it.
Goddamn
the quest can't be finished until a while later, so best not to try it yet.I had already given up with the assumption that the
Also can someone tell me, every now and then Hornet will do some kind of lunge forward attack like a Dante stinger and I can't figure out how to replicate it.I think it's just pressing forward when sprinting?
Also can someone tell me, every now and then Hornet will do some kind of lunge forward attack like a Dante stinger and I can't figure out how to replicate it.Running attack, and yeah they're mostly all different for each crest.
On the wanderer crest if that matters
clockwork dancersis such a cool boss. Beautiful set piece, beautiful music and how the tempo increase as the fight goes on is cool
Got the alt Act 2 ending... That was brutal. I started to get so good at that fight, I was doing the first round damageless, but I'd just get brutalized by the 2nd part's massive RNG fest. Sometimes you'll simply just get patterns that are undodgeable. Couple that with the handicaps... oh boyThe RNG can be reduced somewhat by
I need a fucking mod that disables bind when at full health. That wouldn't be ideal for architect builds. Is it hard to not press B when you want?

Tools are only usable with RB so I don't know how this affects architect. It's more of an issue of pressing it accidentally.Architect restores uses on silkbind.
Architect restores uses on silkbind. That's an alternate bind input. It's not like witch Crest where it changes the normal bind
That's an alternate bind input. It's not like witch Crest where it changes the normal bindAh, kk.
The RNG can be reduced somewhat byHuh... I had no idea you can break the spikes. I mean I saw they react to being hit but I thought it was like hitting any other projectile and doing nothing. Meanwhile, on the winning run, I was dealing with a large middle spike stretch that was basically not passable without the sling shot dash thing.attacking the spikes she summons from the floor. A couple hits will drop the spikes giving you back the space needed to land your jumps safely.Doesn't necessarily help when multiple things are happening at the same time, but there are mitigating factors you can exploit. I'm personally dreading doing that fight too since I mostly beat the boss by simply outhealing the damage it could do.Same way I beat The Unravelled, lol. Some bosses don't attack often enough to beat Hornet just spamming attacks.

Meanwhile, on the winning run, I was dealing with a large middle spike stretch that was basically not passable without the sling shot dash thing.I did like half a dozen attempts with the infection and was dying well before hitting the second phase each time. Just gave up and figured I'd come back to that save later.
It definitely would've helped me. Some runs were ended by very bad spikes that I couldn't avoid
The other RNG that I forgot about in this fight, it was the side needles that were set up off-screen. They come too fast to react to where the safe spot is
But yes this boss is incredibly easy when you can heal. I think it only took me 2 tries in the regular run... and this run probably took about 15-20 tries somewhere in between
ReachedThe Sands of Karak. This is even worse than the mount.I'm on this section right after the first bench where you have to drop down a pit, hit the seed thingy at the bottom then climb up as fast as you can and the timing is so strict. Ugh.

Made some good progress yesterday.
Beat Groal (not too bad if you farm the silk in the room before him), Conchfly, Chef, did the courier run and got that sweet damage upgrade.
Now I'm up to the infamous High Halls fight
Turns out that fight is super easy if you just mod yourself unlimited Pimpillo
I found a way to cheese it without modding.
Is there a very clear indication when act 2 is about to end? I heard you can fuck up story stuff if you finish it too early. I don't want to accidently do that. Not really a clear indicator, but doing the
I did like half a dozen attempts with the infection and was dying well before hitting the second phase each time. Just gave up and figured I'd come back to that save later. The key to winning that fight is to know up slash can hit her without jumping (makes dodging the side needles easier and does more dmg faster), and that the side needles can be jumped with a single jump. Don't double jump as the double jump gives you the slightest height dip that will make you get hit. Once I started to dodge the needles with a single jump, I was getting hit much less.
Then when I came back again to progress to Act 3 I beat her effortlessly. So yeah, healing and tool access make a massive difference.
And yeah, good to know about the spikes.
I meantthe high halls fight.
I just spent like 20 minutes in the Clawmaiden room in High Halls wondering when they were gonna quit spawning before I finally broke down and googled what was going on lol
Does that disable them for the whole citadel?
Yeah that might have been my toughest fight so far too. Just got done with it earlier. I was too stubborn to switch to a crest with more tool slots, so I didn't exactly have the optimal loadout going in. She's so fast.Skarrsinger Karmelita... hardest boss in the game so far. Got stuck on that for hours . Even after learning her moveset it's still incredibly difficult to deal with her patterns.
In the end I just fucking let rip with buzzsaws, cogflies and tacks. Poisoned of course, lmao.
OK, Rosary Cannon is pretty baller lolIt takes like 20 shots to kill a weak enemy unfortunately seems like it's just not worth it.
