When I was running through the woods yesterday, a man was walking with his border collie without a leash. I immediately thought "oh, no". Yeah, the dog decided to run with me, so I had to stop and walk back to the man. Dog was cute, but it was annoying because I didn't want him to run off with me.

It's funny. Much of CE thinks the sex board is a cesspool, and much of the sex board thinks CE is a cesspool. I have been mostly fine at both places.

Bumble is better, like 33% female I believe, and supposedly women are better about messaging especially if you go on the site looking for a long-term relationship. And match.com has always been close to 50/50.

Bumble, Hinge and Coffee Meets Bagel are the best mix of free dating apps, and all are quite different and allow different approaches. Some work better for some people than others.

Yeah, I don't know much about the paid matchmaking services such as Match and eHarmony. I know they are pricey, but the curation likely helps for some people.

Fine advice, and I get what you mean by saying go slow, but tempo actually doesn't matter. What matters is controlling the negative. As in you aren't just letting the weight 'drop' back to you, you are controlling it with your muscles the wholetime instead. The speed at which you do that doesn't actually matter much.

I only say slow because it prevents jerking and dropping, but agreed

Pick the weight that lets you do about 10 SLOW reps until you reach exhaustion. Ideally do 3 sets of that, with about 3 minutes rest btwn each set.

Then move on to the next muscle / exercise and repeat.

Do taxes actually make that much of a difference? My taxes are in the vicinity of $300 a month, so I can't imagine some massive change.

Getting a new house has a lot of costs associated with it, and unless seriously downsizing, I can't imagine saving money, at least not in the short run.

Really noticing how much broader my chest and shoulders are now vs my midsection. I have never had this look before. Really have that inverted triangle look with a tight t shirt. Even when young and my midsection was even smaller, I looked more like a cylinder lol

My mini review of Mandy on Letterboxd:

Moves from dreamlike to nightmarish to a heavy metal acid trip, and nails the early 80s b-movie feel the whole way with awesome cinematography and score. The plot may be a generic action movie, but the mood, feel and performances feel fresh throughout, despite the obvious influences.
