In general, I think Big 2 comics have lost their edge. They have oodles of violence, but the worst a protagonist can really be is a bit of a dick and they kill sometimes. Going back a few decades, you could have raging misogynists and outright fascists who are the absolute WORST people alive right alongside your straight-arrow protagonists to create serious interpersonal tension.

Villains are also likely to be abstracted away from any real-world context; I've read Suicide Squad up through the New 52 run, and there are only so many death cults and Evil Supervillains I can take. It was some pretty insane whiplash going from that to an Ostrander-written special where the Squad has to stop not-Dick Cheney from being tried at the Hague for war crimes.

Two people debating an issue and the way someone wins the argument is by being more charismatic and having better rhetoric. The actual meat and potatoes of the argument is almost completely irrelevant next to the goal of being more likeable to the audience.

Politics isn't about being right, it's about being popular. It's about selling a narrative to your audience. You can't just say correct things for 90 minutes and expect the landslide victory to come rolling in.

The separate areas are baked into the game design. You can't change that without changing a lot of the rest of the game.

The healthcare industry has plenty of blood money to throw around, and if she comes out against private insurance, like she should, they will do everything they can to stop her. The only reason this might not happen is because Trump is so utterly beyond the pale.

It's a half-measure. Private healthcare is a cancer on society and you don't solve it by forcing everyone to have it. Tens of thousands of Americans still die every year due to a lack of coverage. He's a half-measure President that didn't fundamentally solve any of the problems blighting this country, and his maintenance of status quo rotting it from the inside is what allowed Trump to win. He's certainly better than any Republican in the last 50 years, but you have to try pretty damn hard to be worse than any of those soulless psychopaths whose first priority appears to be maximizing human suffering.

The mechanical clunkiness is one of the biggest reasons I don't like the Rescue Team games. The low inventory limit and inability to heal anyone but yourself from the Bag are the worst offenders, and they are thankfully gone in the sequels. Explorers addresses most of the issues you have.

You have a maximum party size of 4, but most of the story will lock you out of taking anyone but the Pokemon it's already selected. I imagine you got the number 6 in your head from the size limit. This basically only applies to enormous Pokemon like Kyogre and Wailord, who may have a size of 4, but there are some others with a size of 2. In practice, it never comes into effect because the vast, vast majority of Pokemon are size 1.

Use the Indie Wiki Buddy extension to redirect to legitimate wikis and make Fandom usable when it's your only option, and uBlacklist to wipe Fandom from your search results in the first place.
