Classical music is a different ballgame entirely. Were talking about contemporary artists who are ostensibly producing new music, and its perfectly reasonable to respect singer / songwriters more than singers having a table of songwriters write their music for them.

Any violinist who can properly play say, Paganinis Caprice No 5 in A Minor at tempo deserves respect simply because it takes a lifetime of dedication to their craft to be able to do that. By contrast, the music industry is full of people who can sing and / or play to varying degrees, and few of them ever crack the top echelon of technical ability.

It is when you use it to write your own music and youre being compared to someone who has someone write all their music for them. Thats the difference between an artist and a performer.

I do. I said I dont think highly of her. But Beyonce hasnt even done that. She hasnt written or choreographed jack or shit. Shes a performer, nothing more. I think Swifts music is garbage, but shes at least picked up a guitar so she deserves more respect as an artist than Beyonce.

No she isnt. Beyonce has never created anything. She only performs others creations.

Yes.

Try this:

1. Cook a pound of elbows in generously salted / oiled water.
2. While theyre cooking, take a block of Velveeta and cut off a block about 4 long, then cut that block up into cubes on a plate or something, then cover in plastic wrap.
3. Drain the elbows after theyre cooked, and put them back in the pot if you used a colander to do it.
4. Pour in milk until you can see it coming up around the edge of the pot, then stir it all up. Pour more milk until you can see it around the edge again.
5. Put the Velveeta cubes in.
6. [Optional] Generously grind black pepper into it.
7. Stir it all up and put the lid on the pot, and let it sit on Lo heat for 5 minutes or so.
8. Stir to incorporate and finish melting the cheese.

Youll never tolerate boxed Velveeta Mac n cheese again after trying this.

As to how I got this job, I applied for every pertinent job they had and got nothing, and months later they called me about an entry level position I didnt apply for. It was a big pay cut, but after being out of work for a year, I accepted, and I had a good boss who advocated for consistent good raises to the point Ive nearly doubled that starting salary in a bit over 6 years (it will be 7 years in October).
