I wonder whether they're going to use the original US translation for FF III/VI? I'd guess probably, but there are a few things they could clean up these days that wouldn't hurt sensibilities.

Pretty sure there's still plenty of people I know that never got the NES Classic. Not confident Nintendo has learned their lesson.

What lesson is that? They only planned on selling a few and they sold them all. They don't care about their customers, that's why they left us to the scalpers.

Maybe B8 is just getting fatigued from Sierra.

Gamestop (at least my Gamestop) isn't taking preorders until they find out their allotments. They don't know when that will be, and they're not calling people to let them know.

I don't care what Nintendo's game plan is with this, it's a real dick move to make these systems limited time only. "Substantially more" systems this time? They won't tell us what that'll be, and I'll still need to be fast enough to get one before scalpers move in and buy out the inventory.

I played some of it. I ran into a bug in one of the settlements that kept causing the game to freeze, so I stopped playing. Or maybe it wasn't a bug but a bad copy. It doesn't matter.

Crappity do dah, nobody outside of the now sold out GAME in the UK has a preorder page for this. I'm really not happy about waiting for some company or another to maybe put up a page when I'm at work.

I had a dream that I missed the SNES Classic because they were all bought up by scalpers. I fully intend to stop in at Gamestop and put down the full amount to buy one.

One just opened nearby. I haven't gone since I don't have enough friends (let alone friends clever enough for something like this).

I played a bit. I enjoyed it, but I stopped playing and haven't been back. That's the way it's gone for a lot of games recently.

I've figured out why I'm not big on Sierra: her face reminds me of someone I knew when I was a kid.

I liked IX. There's a scene about 2/3 of the way in with some of my favorite music from the entire series. I won't give the title because it gives away the scene.

I care about dogs and cats, so I don't eat them. I don't care quite as much about cows, pigs, and poultry, so I eat them. I'm on the fence about fish, so I eat them sparingly.

You can find a partner on Tinder but it's not what most people use it for so there are better options. I actually hear eharmony is pretty good.

I spent a lot of time and money on eHarmony. I never went on a single date. No guarantees on any of these websites.

I'll confess to being curious as to what this will be, but Atari's recent software efforts (Haunted House and Alone in the Dark among them) leave me cold.

I stopped playing Shenmue 2 because of a series of QTEs. I got so fed up with a scene that I turned the game off and never finished.

No. Not otherwise. Every other word could be fuck and I'd buy this game. I liked the first one and the tone seems to be mostly the same, if the trailer is to be believed.

McDonald's has an image to maintain. If they do bring back the szechuan sauce then it'll be under the pretext of the live Mulan movie and not when it's clearly in response to Rick and Morty.

I haven't really played a Bioware game in a while. I tried Dragon Age: Origins, and I really didn't take to it. Prior to that it was Mass Effect 1, which I got a ways into but never finished. That's weird because I did enjoy KotOR and Jade Empire, and the base around each game is still pretty much the same.

I don't follow the industry as closely as I used to, so I'm basically hoping for more details on Far Cry 5 from Ubisoft. I don't own a Switch, or otherwise I might have said Nintendo.

I missed yesterday's contest. I was going to ask what someone had to do to beat Sierra Skye when naked was not enough, but I guess the answer is hold a golf club.

Oh wow, I'm actually going to Belize next month! Did you port in Belize City? I'll be there for a few days and haven't made any plans, so I'd love to hear about your time there.

You know, I'm not one hundred percent sure which city we were in. It might have been Belize City.

I took an excursion to the Lamanai ruins. If you're into that sort of thing then I'll just tell you it's a magnificent area, it's worth hiking to the top of the high temple, and there are monkeys in the jungle. The only real downside is that the trip took up most of the shore time.

What else... I don't remember the brand, but there seems to be one national beer that Belizeans are proud of. It's perfectly ok, nothing to write home about but it's not deadly poison, either.

If you take a guided tour then you might be invited to eat one of their national dishes: rice and beans. I know, it doesn't sound like much but I actually liked what they did with it.

There was a fancy chocolate place in the tourist area. It's not the best chocolate I've had, and it cost a lot of money. Maybe worth it to try chocolate with the hot peppers, if you can't find anything like that locally.

I just did a cruise in January. I don't know what it would be like to spend a week in any of our ports, but I loved my time in Belize.

I caught an episode while I was on vacation back in January. I got home and immediately bought the first two seasons on PSN Store. I'm now eagerly awaiting Season 3.

I've made my peace with it. I'll probably panic later on, but the fact is I terrify and/or creep women out so dating just isn't in the cards for me.

Mine's a radio alarm. I set mine for two hours before I want to get up, then I listen to static for the entire two hours, and then once it's finally shut off on its own I get up.

Riviera was amazing. It took risks and I've not seen anything else like it.

I've got it. It's on my "to play" list... someday, like dozens of other games.

Another often forgotten game is Sands of Destruction on the NDS. It is often overlooked by Radiant Historia, the *real* hidden gem of the handheld. Of course, SoD is not without its flaws such as its completely defective battle system and terrible pacing. But it's more of a game you play for the story. From the moment the story starts after the obligatory first dungeon, the game is already trying to be In Your Face by wiping out your hometown via YOUR own hands, including your benevolent mentor, your mom, and every friendly NPC in sight and it's hilariously played for laughs! It is also the only JRPG I know where every character you play is using unconventional weaponry.

That, too, is on my "to play" list. Sitting on my shelf right now.
