But while I do take a higher quality per pic approach and thus charge a bit more than my contemporaries, I always end up giving people more than they paid for anyway. I keep telling myself that if I make ten bucks per hour of work, I'll be happy, but it usually ends up being about 6-8 bucks / hr, which makes me less happy. The root of it is that some people (as a previous poster pointed out, people who've never taken the time to create something) still labor under the delusion that art is a hobby, not an actual career. And they also don't actually see the time and energy that goes into a piece. And let's be honest here: people have always acted this way to varying degrees about paying for art, but the post-Napster free-shit internet culture has amplified it a bit. There's also the explosion of availability of quality art thanks to the internet; so when people who don't know better see it in such high quantity, they assume that it must be really easy and quick to produce. --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. |

And if you watch the commentary on that ep, they even suggest that Compare this to the original series, where characters were constantly falling from comical heights and getting thrown into (or through) solid rock without lasting damage, especially in Book 1 and the early parts of Book 2. Hell, Zuko once got shot into the air for like five full seconds and smacked facedown onto the pavement with no damage. I think our minds get geared to be more critical of fall damage in LoK because the creators actually took steps to be mindful of it this time around, whereas we naturally accept TLA to be more cartoonish about it. --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. |

I felt Bolin really turned it around in S3 and had quite a few good lines. I didn't think CE had it in 'em ^^ The S3 finale is S4 isn't as bad as people make it out to be; I actually found it to be quite good. 'Korra Alone' is one of the top eps across both series, at least. The season opener that aired back on April Fool's was great, and the other three have been decent enough (I wasn't overly enthused with S2 either, so it's not much of a downgrade for me). Mostly been playing MK 8, since I only got to play the wiiU version for about a week. BotW sounds pretty much like a dream game for me personally, and while it may sound silly, I'm saving that one to play when the time's right. And I don't think there's any possible way I won't love Super Mario Oddessy.
