Seems similar to mine still. Same weaknesses too. We may have a swapped "matrix reasoning" and "visual puzzles". Did you do better on your digit span backwards or forwards?

I don't have the results for backwards or forwards, just the overall score for the subsections I think. My matrix reasoning was basically the only score that was in the middle between my high scoring sections and lower scoring sections.

I don't know if these numbers are on the same scale as yours but here's what they are:

Verbal Comprehension:
Similarities: 16
Vocabulary: 15
Information: 17

Perceptual Reasoning:
Block Design: 8
Matrix Reasoning: 13

The test was the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-fourth edition (WAIS-IV)

Also looking more at the results, the sections I scored lowest on were "block design", "visual puzzles", "symbol search", and "coding".

The highest were "information", "verbal comprehension", "digital span", "arithmetic", and "similarities".


Well at least I know what sections to practice if I want to pump those numbers up, lol. I do think I am naturally oriented towards those areas where I scored higher, but I think with practice I could do much better on the block and visual puzzles. It's something I've never really practiced or did much of in school.

I will check the records again, I don't remember the names of any of the tests they gave me (I don't think I was even told them actually), but they might be in the records.

The same psych who gave me this test diagnosed me with Asperger's Syndrome, but I have categorically rejected that diagnosis ever since. I have not been in any sort of treatment or on medication for the past seven years since.

Alright so I was only about average on two categories: perceptual reasoning and processing speed

Apparently perceptual reasoning is problems like this

They included physical tasks such as block design where the subject is asked to copy a design on a page using three dimensional, patterned blocks and predicting sequences of pattern or combinations of patterns set out in a matrix.

I admit I'm not very good at the geometric type questions, particularly the ones that involve looking at a picture of a set of blocks and then having to rotate it in 3D space in your mind and figure out which one out of several options it could (or could not) be. I remember there were a lot of questions like that.

Also not sure why I didn't do well on processing speed. I like taking my time to make sure I get every answer as correct as possible, but that's basically what the school system trains you to do. It's always in your best interest to use the maximum time allotted for the test to double check your answers after you've finished (at least in the education system I went through) so that's my excuse for that score.

As for verbal comprehension and working memory, that's about more in line with what I'd expect. Overall the shitty scores on the two subjects brought me down to 121

Oh and they include the results of my drug test lol ;)



72 nanograms of THC per mL? That's fourteen times the legal limit for DUI in Colorado and Washington right now, which is 5 ng / mL. I took this test almost FOUR DAYS after the last time I smoked. I was stone cold sober, and I still show up at 14x the legal limit?! What bullshit :P

I used to live right next to an orthodox Jewish area in Brooklyn. I used to pass an orthodox Jewish girls' elementary school on the way to the subway every day. I am not sure what he meant by that either, but I think it's him saying that because I am not connecting with the community college that I was no longer the student that I used to be, which was one who was much more involved with things like extracurricular activities.

I had to order the records because I might be working in a field where I could end up getting a government security clearance some day, and therefore I need to see what kind of a paper trail is out there when it comes to this stuff because they might be looking into it.

Thankfully from what I understand even the "top secret" clearance only goes back 10 years so in about 3 years this will be long ago enough so that it hopefully doesn't come up.

I have recently acquired records that include the notes from appoints with a psychiatrist that my father forced me to go to in my teens. Here are some funny things (also the handwritten stuff is my own writing because I just went through highlighting and writing notes on it):



My dad accuses me of trying to be a drug dealer, trying to move to Amsterdam to get into the marijuana business. None of that was true. I wasn't there at the time. I had decided that I was done with that doctor, and I was refusing to engage in any more psychobabble or pills. My dad still went to the appointment and used it as a platform to say all that crap about me.



Disturbing conversations- insists on using lots of marijuana. Damn straight! And your asperger's diagnosis? Complete and utter bullshit, thank you very much. I immediately disregarded that and instead cut off these psychobabble morons right then and there.

As for New York, here are some of the ridiculous gun control laws I am talking about:

- 10 round magazine maximum (was originally 7 but that was struck down for being BS)

- Ban on semi-automatic rifles, semi-automatic pistols (handguns), and semi-automatic shotguns with one or more "military-style features, such as a telescoping stock, bayonet mount, flash suppressor, grenade launcher, threaded barrel, muzzle compensator; thumbhole stock, or foregrip.

- Making it extremely difficult to get concealed carry in NYC if you aren't rich or connected

- Also lots of political BS like this:

The state of New York is of particular concern to interstate motorists who travel with firearms because it separates all six New England states from the rest of the United States. This means that under the Firearm Owners Protection Act (FOPA), all people traveling through the state with firearms are protected by federal law, however they must have their firearms unloaded and locked in a hard case where they are not readily accessible (e.g. in the trunk of a vehicle).[36]

Even with federal protections for those who properly secure their firearms and ammunition while transiting through New York, some police agencies in New York (notably the New York State Police and the New York Police Department) do not recognize the federal Firearm Owners Protection Act, and may still detain or arrest travelers, and place such travelers in a situation where they have to reference FOPA as an affirmative defense to criminal charges in court proceedings.
