All PMs have been sent. The new deadline will be Wednesday, March 15th at 11:59 PM ET. That way, I can put up draft prospects on Thursday and give people at least a week to decide how they wish to approach the draft or work out pre-draft trades.

As for stuff regarding what we are currently doing, I decided against including first-year cap hits because I have to go through additional menus and it would easily double the time it takes to normally send out PMs. If anyone needs to know first-year cap hits for their decisions, feel free to ask me.

+ Better control than evil version
+ Better super moves than evil version
+ Better projectiles than evil version

- Noticeably slower movement speed than evil version
- His attacks can be hard to connect
- Seems to be a little more difficult in building up AP

Bottom Line:
I hope that the overwhelming majority feel that this is the superior Cole. There really isn't much else to say

I have gone through 14 arcade modes, 5 or 6 online matches, and about 15-20 combat trials, which means I have played 130-140 matches total.

I have yet to play on the inFAMOUS or Jak and Daxter stage. How is that possible?

Evil Cole

+ His movement speed stood out to me, and it allows you to crash any party in no time.
+ If you can get someone in the air, you are in complete control

- His speed comes with the drawback at being a bit hard to control
- His attacks can be hard to connect
- Not strong in the super move department

Bottom Line:
It's fun zipping around on the stage, but unfortunately, this isn't a platformer but a fighting game. While I did start to get in some sort of a groove with him, I don't think that I will ever be truly comfortable with him. I don't mind unorthodox, but I don't feel like having to tame him over and over.

+ One of the few characters that feels great jumping around with
+ Great throws
+ Poor man's Kratos in many ways

- Poor man's Kratos in many ways
- Lacks a killer move that I can turn to while in a bind
- Lackluster super moves
- Must be made of glass or something because even the tiniest thing throws her off-balance, disrupts her attacks, or sends her flying across the map

Bottom Line:
Calling her playable doesn't do her justice but being an inferior version of another character with significantly more holes in their game gives me very conflicted feelings.

I am not interested in the characters but the stages. I have never played the games that they are based on, but I was more curious as to their integration with Wipeout and The Unfinished Swan, both of which I do have a history with.

Also, you have to see that I have a 99 and 96 at both G spots. One is 28, the other is 33, which means they each have many, many seasons ahead of them. One has never missed a start in his career, the other has missed 8 games across 7 seasons.

I had 0 reason to hold onto expensive backups that had value to other franchises and would have otherwise likely demanded trades in the near future.

As for why Sultan gave up Chris Scott, I have no idea.

Kroul in particular I was keen on matching until I did see that the team with the #3 overall pick was offering him a contract, and I had an 83 overall, 24-year-old DT that I could plug in the rotation instead.

Kroul was inserted into the starting lineup often last season because the two DTs in front of him missed a couple games each at different points in the season. He has never missed a game due to injury.

Also, the player decides which contract to sign. I have no say in the matter. If Kroul would have liked your offer more than the Seahawks, then he would have signed with the Bills.

Signing Your Remaining Free Agents

Any player of yours whose contract expired and was not part of the previous event will be included here. This is an extremely straightforward event. You either sign or you do not sign players, Those you do stay on your team, those who don't enter the free agent pool.

When you receive the PM with your slashlines, remember that those are not the deals you have to sign them to. With one exception that I will lay out, you can sign anyone to deals 1-7 years in length. If you wish to give a player a custom offer, I am available to do this live through Sunday. After that, we can bounce PMs off each other. If you wish to offer someone a deal of a different length but do no want to bother with the financials, you can merely say you want to give X player the default deal for Y years.

There are only two wrinkles for this event. One is that a few players might hold out for better deals. I can confirm that two users have holdouts. What happens is that I will isolate them in the PM and tell you their base deals. If you elect not to sign them, they will stay on your team without playing a down for you until you trade them, release them, or give into their contract demands.

The second wrinkle is that some players hate your team to where they will only sign via the franchise tag, which is a one year deal that pays them the average of the Top 5 salaries at their position. I will isolate those players and also tell you how much money that comes out to as of this moment. Nobody has ever used the franchise tag in B8NFLL, so I am not expecting anyone will use it, but you never know.

Big Daddy

+ He's an absolute mauler. He has so many short-range attacks that can launch people clear across the level (I suppose that could be a bad thing in some circumstances)
+ While not amazing by any stretch, he has actually some long range attacks that are decent, especially the lightning one
+ His downward triangle attack is devastating when you can trap 2 or 3 players
+ In perhaps what is my favorite moment in the game so far, I knocked back Drake's annoying barrel attack with a quick flick of the drill.

- Fight has to come to him
- Basically can't dodge
- Every player reacts the same getting hit, so his lack of speed unfortunately isn't mitigated with a shorter launch distance (defensively)
- Level 1 super move takes some getting used to and is easy to disrupt or dodge

Bottom Line:
For anyone who was familiar with Big Daddy prior to playing the game, he is mostly what you'd expect. His glaring flaws make his ceiling lower than most and basically committing suicide if you choose to play him online. This also isn't an archetype in fighting games that I tend to like, but despite all that, I oddly enjoyed playing him.

Phase 3 of Restricted Free Agency

All users who have players that were signed to contracts by other teams will have until Monday, March 6th at 11:59 PM ET to decide if they should match the contract or let them sign with the new team in exchange for the draft pick or picks tied to them.

Only two users total were affected, so should this get wrapped up before the deadline, I will go ahead and start the next offseason event and give people more time with it.
