i mean harrison barnes literally lost GSW the 2016 championship bricking shots way more open than that one, i imagine the warriors were pretty happy letting barnes take that final shot and that other horrible shot with like 40 seconds left with a ton left on the shot clock instead of getting cooked by fox

Also, ice cold take: FF3DS is the literal worst final fantasy of all time. Absolutely abominable gameplay, a total downgrade over a fucking NES game. If anyone here only played the DS version of FF3, do yourself a favor and play the pixel remaster instead. They managed to make the gameplay WORSE, by a LOT, somehow.

Houston will throw the bag at Nick Nurse but my guess is hell wait and see if Denver flames out of the playoffs again because I think Mike Malone is likely fired if the nuggets underperform again.

and i presume nick nurse would much prefer a Denver team thats potentially/possibly a good coach away from a championship to a Houston team with some bad habits / that doesnt really play winning basketball

perhaps the most surprising stat youll see all year

embiid has been getting away with stuff no one else is allowed to for far too long. hes more reckless than anybody else in the NBA and is much bigger than the usual offenders too which makes his dirty plays more dangerous as well especially when hes straight up falling on top of people

but the nba has no interest in suspending their coddled little MVP whos getting the award strictly out of voter fatigue

unless it had an extremely negative effect you couldn't control i think it's nearly impossible for 1 energy 2 power card to be the literal worst card in the game

i think crystal is probably what should be considered the worst card in the game and probably unanimously. terrible effect, terrible stats, high cost, basically no situation where you'd be happy to play her or generate her off of a random effect

snowguard is pretty bad though and definitely at 6000 tokens but there's still much worse

I think the most annoying losses are when people call my bluff. Like I've played 4 different rock adding effects to your deck so I'm clearly setting up a Darkhark.

They're in a position where Darkhawk is 100% going to beat them but you stay in the same. I didn't manage to draw Darkhawk but why is my opponent taking a 1/3 chance on that.

I stayed in the game because I thought I might still beat him and his play would not have countered Darkhawk either.

are you snapping? i'll definitely risk 2 cubes that they don't have their combo piece but 4 is iffier

they had the chance to extend him in january 2022 for a reasonable number (much less than what he got from the knicks) and they chose not to because cuban is a complete and utter cheapskate through and through

100% an unforced error and blaming rick brunson working for the knicks is purely sour grapes (plus they already got penalized a 2025 second round draft pick for the tampering)

they also traded away his best friend on the team (DFS) for kyrie

i think things could get very sour very fast over the summer or shortly into next season, especially if kyrie leaves over the summer

if someone who loses out of the playin moves into the top 4 in the lottery and the mavericks slip to 11th they don't even get their own pick

could become a gigantic disaster very quickly

i actually think thanos is one of the better value cards when you don't have a full collection

you can definitely make him work with a ton of different packages - zoo with kazar + blue marvel, lockjaw, killmonger + death, ongoing with spectrum

sell the team to someone who actually runs a competent team that doesn't allow senior leadership to run rampant with sexual misconduct

send luka to basically any of the other 29 teams who would do a better job with roster construction around him

having an identical card to heimdall to the right could potentially be a bit too strong (forcing opposing players to effectively guess whether stuff is going right or left

but something like a card that swaps all the cards at the left location with all the cards at the right location could be cool (counting as a move effect)

sunspot will get taken out of any deck that generally tries to play cards on every turn whenever possible but will still be played in decks that don't really do stuff until turns 4-6 or infinaut / shehulk stuff that wants to intentionally float mana

which is good. no card should be so good that it's in auto include in every deck

Im surprised I dont see Yondu a ton for 1 cost cards considering his potential to ruin an enemys strategy. Ive killed so many Prof X, Patriots and Knulls lately its insane

there's simply no reason to run yondu over korg unless you are also playing death / knull

drawing a rock is generally much worse than not drawing a random card (and if yondu hits a necessary card they will always retreat, whereas they may stay in and hope to draw it at slightly worse odds with korg)

i still like the idea of shuri being forced to double the power of the next card you play in the same location

that way you (generally) can't protect stuff with cosmo anymore

sunspot nerf is long overdue though, wonder if this finally opens up 1 drop diversity or not
