it is p easy to tell by someone's posting habits if they are an incel type. the reddit guy linked in the op was banned for just using the word female at all and there doesn't seem to be any indication at all that person posts like an incel. the reddit mod in this scenario comes off much worse in every way.

the problem is when you are an established business and the new management taking over, instead of going in a positive direction you start losing insane amounts of money. that is very obviously terrible business decisions at play. facebook isn't suddenly trying to make the majority of its money from a subscription service because facebook didn't scare away all the advertisers its business model is based on. musk destroyed the twitter business model that has kept it afloat and tried to pivot to a laughably failing model of charging $8 which very few people are even paying.

they definitely are lol. facebook is still insanely profitable and has literally billions of daily users while twitter is losing money at an insane rate and has lost daily users in the musk era

5 years ago it was much more lenient. You didnt see nearly as many people get suspended. That seems like the default punishment now.

Once you get hit once, that is pretty much it.

the rules were the same 5 years ago as they are now, they just got wise to the same people getting constantly suspended over and over and rightly leave suspensions on their mod histories longer. if you are going from clean mod history to suspended that takes a ton of shit posting in the first place tbh

yeah you can't make a specific thread about it obviously but if a user is suspended in a specific thread obviously you can discuss it in the existing topic

There used to be. Then they got banned in favor of the induvial topics.

the general didn't get banned in favor of individual topics, it got banned because goats was being weird and blocking and unblocking people to troll them and the individual topics sprang up and increased the point that one was made every time anyone got warned/suspended/banned. usually users that get warned/suspended/banned are awful posters that have an army of alts, but so many topics is disruptive

a topic for every user that got warned/suspended/banned was ridiculous. it's almost like it wouldn't be as disruptive if there was a general topic lol.

either way, the right wing trolls that constantly get put in timeout and banned will not suddenly become acceptable users and will still get called out for bad behavior without 304938 topics announcing everytime one of their alts is modded

anytime anyone gets warned/suspended on ce there is a topic made. there used to be a warned/suspended general topic but they banned the general and people started making individual topics. it did get to a point on ce where it was just a vehicle to attack the user (though often these were constantly banned right wing troll accounts) so it did kinda get absurd. i am sure they banned them because of ce

duke was good last year on both sides of the ball and they seem to have a really solid defense this year. we knew they would have a good qb, but if they have a legit defense and clemson isn't just that bad they could be a contender in the acc. the duke o-line looked mostly good and they have been great at forcing turnovers last season and now this first game. i can root for duke in the acc for sure

as an ole miss fan i am optimistic about this season. the offense should be really great, they have good qb with great receivers and one of the best rb's in the country. if the defense is even decent i can see them being a really solid team. playing alabama in tuscaloosa is never ideal but i prefer to play that game earlier in the season anyway, especially after they play texas

Down here in Los Angeles the lowest price is $5.00 at the cheap off brand stations. The regular stations vary wildly depending on what part of LA you're in. There's a gas station near me that's $5.70. And according to google maps, there's some gas stations that are over $6.50 in Chinatown. No idea what that's about.
