not a big fan of snakes, they are scary and that one in particular looks wicked and poisonous. i do admit they are fascinating creatures but i am not keen on them irl

pigs are super personable and smart animals and i don't think they should be breed en masse and slaughtered for food the way they are. they actually make good pets. i had an aunt that had a giant pot belly pig as a pet and it was super cool

How did I spread misinformation? I haven't spread any information one way or the other. The only information I spread was of cardiac deaths increasing, which I linked to actual sources, and acknowledged that that is likely from long COVID, I AGREE on that. But said that some people think its because of the vaccine. Im not a scientist so at that point I leave it to studies. But if even acknowledging that is mod-worthy that's again, kind of scary.

I acknowledge that most people are probably right in what they say about things, but I still think the attitude is scary if people think this is a mod-worthy topic to even bring up the discussion.

you are doing it again. "some people think it's because of the vaccine" is a worthless statement. you can find 'some people' that believe anything, but people believing things doesn't make those beliefs credible. we have solid scientific evidence that displays the dangers of covid and absolutely zero scientific evidence that covid vaccines are dangerous.

I really need to let myself walk away but the parts about how I should be suspended or the topic should be removed is exactly what Im talking about...that's the part that scares me. That even saying something as mild as this thread is something that people think should be removed and the person suspended. For even acknowledging any concerns at all. And that's a scary mentality IMO. This usually from the side that hates fascism. Like... I'm not saying anything offensive or racist or flaming and Im not trying to say anything against the vaccine, which as I said multiple times I have.

Im just saying if anything did come out about the vaccine would even posting it be grounds for having it deleted, hidden, or suspended? Like we should never suspend people for raising discussion topics or try to silence them that strongly unless they have actual offensive views.

I don't think important information should be drowned out, but this is kind of a false equivalence, since nobody is saying you should be suspended for spreading information about the vaccine and mitigation efforts. Im not saying its scary people don't agree with the anti-vaxxers, that is expected. Im saying its scary that there's a strong effort to completely silence any opposition to what we accept as truth.

also, the covid vaccines aren't even 'new' like anti vaxxers try to frame them. they had an existing vaccine template they used to develop the covid vaxxines

being anti covid vaxx is absolutely on the same level as being a 9/11 truther or flat earther. not only did the vaccine undergo extensive clinical trials before it was released to the public, we now have 3 years of evidence that it is safe.

there isn't any evidence that the covid vaccines are dangerous. not a shred of evidence. the incredibly rare medical issues that could be linked to the vaccine are all are much less serious than the actual negative effects of covid. there isn't a shred of evidence to the contrary despite billions being vaccinated for 3 years now. the 'just asking questions' shtick is completely absurd at this point

the anti covid vaccine is every bit as absurd as being anti flu shot in 2023

See this is a reasonable response....and I know, its most likely a result of the disease, not the vaccine.

But again, even bringing up the idea that cardiac events have worsened was laughed off by some people here. And that kind of attitude isn't helpful. Data is all we have. The rest is just us saying our feelings.

I just hope that whatever things from the vaccine we do find do not cause long-term issues.

And if it IS a necessary evil to ward off the disease that should still be something people are fully informed of, especially if they're putting it in their bodies.

but seriously, covid is still here and still killing people and the vaccines are proven to be extremely effective in mitigating the most serious symptoms and negatives of covid. the vaccines are also proven to be among the safest and most effective vaccines in the history of vaccines.

anyone can do whatever they want but they should know that shunning the vaccines will put elderly and at risk people in danger and it is proven effective unlike eating horse paste
