I just built a hoverbike and...my eyes have been opened. Jesus this thing feels broken and super cheap on Zonaite, lol. I think I'll only use it occasionally since I want to slowly explore everything.

Nah you know what, I'm also tired of downplaying Frontiers with all this mediocre talk. I'm not even a particularly big Sonic fan and it's the first one I actually enjoyed playing enough to 100% complete it since Generations. Frontiers is not mediocre, it's just straight up a good game. Am I saying it's perfect, no. But it's at least good enough to be better than just mediocre.

Too many people are afraid of calling any Sonic game good lately, for some reason. Even older ones that were highly praised. If I enjoy a game that means it's good in my eyes. Varying levels of "good" exist, but that's how I feel. And Frontiers was enjoyable for me.

It's not a bad game, I had enjoyment out of it. I'd say it's worth it if it's on sale for $30/$40.

The most you ever need to do with building to solve puzzles is to attach a couple things at a time and/or make a bridge. It's nowhere near Nuts & Bolts level. If you think you need to make some sort of elaborate construction to solve something, you're overthinking it.

On one hand I don't want them to drastically change the story, but on the other hand if they don't change things then it'll render the "fighting fate" BS in Part 1 irrelevant and pointless. It's a catch 22.

Maybe it's a thing where it's their excuse to put major plot points and surprises in places that veteran players won't expect. So say if they keep Aerith's death it might not happen in the place or time we expect.

They keep reassuring us that the story won't change much, but the question becomes "what is a significant change to them" if part 1 had...THAT as an ending.

I loved like 90% of the game including story up to that point though, so I have faith they know what they're doing.

Edit: And yeah, the mid-battle cutscenes/checkpoints were annoying. Hope they fix that, because it sucks getting ready to unload some massive damage and then the game just says "nope" because I was barely at the threshold. Let players skip phases if they do enough damage, or have each phase be its own health bar.

Either way, it's a much larger game, there's three major areas in the map this time instead of just Manhattan Island, multiple playable characters each with their own skill trees, each character having sidequests dedicated to their playstyles, etc. It's just more of what I loved of the original, and it looked great to begin with so the graphics of SM2 don't disappoint me at all.

Haven't been interested. It's a combination of not having watched the original and being dissatisfied with how they've been doing their live-action remakes. Dumbo was unironically the only one I enjoyed because they practically made it a different movie by changing the perspective to humans instead of the actual Dumbo character.

At the very least we might get some info in a few days. Summer Games Fest and all that.

Where'd you hear that? All I heard was that they were starting work on Part 3 almost simultaneously since Part 2 would have a lot of assets done for them already.

Also she's kinda getting paired wirh Zangief.
On Zangief's story, he picked up a flyer that said Marisa is recruiting for a strong partner. The thing is she actually looking for a partner in marriage while Zangief thought she was looking for a tag team partner.
Weirdly in that story she is not as big as seen in the actual gameplay.

Also, canonically, she prefers fighting in the nude but chooses not to because society deems it uncouth.

...Just...thought that was an interesting side note.

It's mostly Nintendo (and third party) characters coming together to duke it out, but several design aspects make it appealing over other Smash-likes. Stuff like the effects, the impact moves have, the snappy and responsive movement, fun stages, etc.

Anyone who thinks this will have to answer before God in this case. He's not dumb, that kind of supposed "loophole" won't work. He looks for true forgiveness, a willingness to want to change. Though some feel there are "unforgivable sins" like rape and murder.

I believe it ends that way because it was originally revealed as Part 1. So yeah there's gonna be another Spider-Verse movie.

The game absolutely is a joy to play. More open world games need to not just place hundreds of markers as soon as you get the map. Icons only showing up when you discover something incentivizes exploring so much, it's rather addicting. Helps that this game has a lot of actual content compared to BotW too.

Apparently five shot is a random ability that 3-shot bows can have. You can change the ability by having Rock Octoroks eat them and spit them out (which also repairs durability).

Finished watching so uh...without looking at an analysis video which I feel is necessary...is the movie about Nikki confusing her real life with her character's life because what happens in the movie ends up happening in her own life?

I'll have to look at his other movies afterwards then. Good to know Inland Empire's probably one of his weaker films because I have almost zero idea what's going on, lol. I almost quit the movie until they went into that mystery of the old film being cancelled because the leads got murdered.

Haven't watched one before until Inland Empire. I can't understand half the stuff happening in this movie, but it's oddly interesting with how weird and dream-like it is. After the hour mark it started turning really creepy.

That Lion King clip made me depressed. I need to listen to the original's OST to make me feel better, lol.

They did such a great job with her. She was so annoying in the original and they basically did everything in their power to make you like her in the Remake...and it worked, lol.

I'm basically agreeing with the others, but it's only if you're trying to absolutely 100% the game. You don't need to and judging by the completion rewards the game doesn't expect most players to do so either. It's just a grind.

That said, the game's extremely fun if you play it at your own speed.

If someone does a lot of exploring, completes all shrines and lightroots, and is good about picking up materials they come across, are there any materials you think would still require grinding? Dragon parts and star stones? Those are all I remember grinding for in BotW.

Yeah I imagine that's basically it. Which isn't much but can still be a pain having to wait for them.

At least the Star Fragments seem more common this time compared to BotW.

The guy's a genius programmer. He does stuff with this that was thought to be an impossibility in the engine.
