Honestly, it mostly depends on the game/genre.

Ofc I can see a difference between 30,60,120 FPS when they are next to each other, but it's not like I notice it all the time and go around "why is this only 30fps".

Sure, the more hectic and intense a scene is, the better is a higher fps. That's stuff you can see or feel, but the difference in gameplay is marginal.

A jump from 30 to 60 fps allows you an average improvement of reaction time of 0.008 seconds or 8ms. A jump from 60 to 120 fps are 0.004 seconds. That's stuff you should only care about if you are over the top competitive.

Probably the only genre I'm aware of in a need of a lot of FPS are rythm games with an high intensity.

What everybody should notice are changes in FPS. If you see something in 60 fps, and the FPS suddenly drops, that's something that will disturb most people.

It's most likely that he simply doesn't want to live there (with his family), and maybe because playing there would be a hit to his reputation.

Nonetheless, it shows that the Saudis can't buy everything and everyone, just by throwing even more money, and that's a nice thing.

There are worse games for loosing a save, like Sims, Harvest moon, all these building simulations, but even then, mistakes happen.

If it's on purpose aimed at me, that's a huge red flag, no matter the game.

I think the 2nd option is the "true one", but holding on a bike you currently don't rent (and should be available to others) is also an asshole move in my eyes.

Afaik, two assholes went against each other, it went viral, and now both get showered in money to feed some lawyers.

In short, the problem is that the usual punishment is 100% lethal for a specific person, in this case some alien species (even if it's human).

That should not be an unusual problem in any civilisation, be it alien or not.

Every species will have to deal with the crimes of the sick or old people.

Seriously, there is no issue at all, especially since the race already believes that killing is bad, there isn't much to discuss in the first place. If you say "but it will kill them!" and your people answer with "oh, yeah, we should not do that" there is no issue at all.

And if they don't care about the deaths of others, the experiment becomes silly anyways. It's like saying "assume you are a racist, would you do racist things or not?". Yeah, of course, that's the definition.

But Nintendo/Smash is pretty tame compared to others.

Smash: 69 fighters + 12 DLC fighters (6 per fighter or 55 for 2 season passes for eleven of them, piranha plant not included)

Tekken 7: 36 characters + 15 DLC fighters (6 per fighter, or 95 for 4 season passes for 14 of them, Eliza not included).

Granblue Phantasy Versus: 13 Characters + 12 DLC fighters (7 per fighter for 10 of them, or 2 seasons passes for 65, the last two are a extra 10 bundle).

The DLC politic of Granblue Phantasy was the reason I'm still boycotting this game. 1 month after release they already sold 3 DLC fighters, shortly after that season pass 1 was already over. Season pass 2 starting even half a year after the maingame got released.

That's just holding content back to sell it as an extra. At least in the case of Smash and Tekken I can assume that they put some effort into the DLC AFTER the game got released.

And I'm sure if I look for some of the Dragonball games it get's even much worse, with glorified alts getting sold as the new Goku version.

I believe that's the intersex flag. Again, it is distinct from the trans flag since sex =/= gender and someone can be intersex but also cis, trans, or nonbinary as well as straight, gay, or bi.

I believe there have been attempts at queer flags that encompass all groups with colors and symbolism beyond superimposing their flags over other flags, but none have really caught on.

I mean, that was the point of the original rainbowflag from the beginning.

It was always a symbol of diversity, not of being gay, straight or bi.

I'm working in a software company for construction stuff, but I'm no software developer there.

I can programm stuff, but my skills are far too dirty to count as true software development. I have to create some scripts for customers on an individual basis (sometimes simple with a few lines of code, sometimes a few hundred lines of code or more), but the core development of the software behind is on another level.

Before that, I was in the financial sector.
I was programming internal tools for our analysis team.

Simply put, we got hundreds of GB in data in a stupid CSV format per month (and some other sources), and my job was to ETL the shit out of them until we had some nice figures and graphs for CEOs and the EBA.

Depends on the topic/talk.

If it's general socialising, it's bullshit. Mostly.

If it's some work related (or something you have to think about in depth), it's more about "give me 10 minutes to structure all the stuff in my head again".

I think the coffee is just the ritual that is linked to this process, so I would say that there is some truth to it, but it's not about the coffee, it's the process itself.

Again, that's supply/demand at work. In 2016, France gutted the (legal) supply, while demand remained unchanged.

With that logic, banning prostitution is keeping the demand the same, but gutts the supply, leading to more trafficking, and at the same time legalizing prostitution increases the demand, leading to more trafficking too.

The first part is not true, the article especially says that demand goes down, but only the "bad apples" who don't give fuck about the law take their services.

The 2nd part may be true in the short term, looking at the figures from Germany:

If a mage needs more max mana to be able to use more than 3 fireballs, than a axe fighter should also have to care about some ressource.

You linked some articles that don't even address the issue of trafficking. Moreover you dismiss the study not based on its findings but based on your views on the specific implementations of the Nordic model in two countries. I feel like you're mixing up the cards here.

This study explicity sets the nordic model as the goal, and mentions France and Ireland multiple times in specific, because they also implemented this.

They namedrop the "nordic model" all the time, not me, but if you want, I can also use their other words:

Doesn't matter what the point of the study is, if you compare the nordic countries Norway/Sweden/Finland with any other country of central or western europe, the nordic countries will practically always be superior.

I'm also not sure how the study took stuff like the enlargement of the EU into account.

Other correlations include:

• High-income countries have more inflow of sex trafficing than low income countries
• Democracies have more inflow in sex trafficing than non-democracies.

I just read it, and sorry, this is... badly done.

It recommends "the introduction of the Nordic Model of prostitution legislation" and also mentions multiple times that Ireland and France already did this some years ago, but doesn't mention at all how the situation in Ireland changed.

I mean, even if you only count the games of the main series without any spin offs, cross overs or whatever, Mortal Kombat has 11 games, and Smash has 6 including Smash for 3DS.

And they are not in real competition anyways, unlike Street Fighter / Tekken and all the smaller series following behind.
