Seriously, it's extremly annoying to read such political discussions about the US, and people go "wtf, omg, thats the most stupid bullshit ever, it's inhuman and can't work at all", when I'm here, sitting in europe, with exactly this system being the standard for centuries.

It's not like that europe is full of stateless people, just because they have no jus soli.

There are usually two ways to grant citizenship at birth.

jus soli, by the place they were born in.
jus sanguinis, by the parents.

Pure jus soli, with no restrictions, is something that only America (the continent) truly has these days, and even they also use jus sanguinis if children are born abroad.

Other countries are usually jus sanguinis, sometimes with some easier ways to citizenship for people born here.

I have a similar problem, but I swear, this is because I became way too efficient with everything.

Because they never did.

Neither during my times I hit the clubs with my friends, nor during dating apps.

I'm not the one you asked, but I want to answer too because I feel similar.

The fact that I don't really have much to offer, and that I'm terrible with taking a step towards someone.

I have no problems talking to customers, or some people during online games, be they guys or girls, but I'm beyond terrible when it's about getting closer to someone.

I have a beyond terribly hard time reading others, and I'm always afraid that I harass or annoy them or even worse just by getting to close.

I don't want to be talked to by some random weirdo myself, so why should it be different if it's me?

That's terrible. No idea how it is in the US, but our blood donations doesn't get tested for Malaria at all. They just ban you from donating blood for a while if you traveled into such countries.

Yeah, it's very unlikely that he will be face a trial in the US.

AFAIK, most likely they will judge them in Germany, and put them in prison in the US. But it's not like Germany and the US are not discussing and working together there, and if both want some deal, it may happen for whatever reasons. It's still an US-citizen killing other US-citizen.

I've been playing through it personally. I love this style of RPG because it feels like preparation and conserving your resources matters and you can't really cheese anything.

Currently on Floor... 17 or something, level 40ish, and the biggest ressource I have to manage is "free inventory space", even on hard. And HP is no issue after getting Healing Touch either.

But I still love the game. I just had to change the auto map drawing to full auto, because otherwise I would go crazy in the 4th stratum.
