I remember when idiots tried to make the addition of difficulty settings to Dark Souls into a controversy. More like non-troversy.

On the other hand, I don't get it why people complain when some games are not aimed at them.

I tried Dark Souls, it was too brutal in it's punishment for me, so I simply stopped playing Dark Souls.

Meanwhile I jump into RPGs hoping it's as complex as possible, because that's what I'm looking for, even if this is going to be a huge turn off for others.

Complaining that a game that is designed to punish mistakes and is mercyless in that is too mercyless is simply strange in my eyes.

Not every games is going to cater your own wishes, nor does it have too. Just look for games aimed at you.

I think he realised he was mean, but downplayed it a lot.

Thankfully the talk wasn't long.

It's not enjoyable at all, and the procedure isn't nice nor free of pain (not sure if you get some naroctic or not?) but it's only momenteraly and goes away quickly.

What I hate more is that the usual elemental triangle always has a offensive strength and a defensive strenght (or offensive weakness).

So, fire does +50% dmg against grass, but -50% against water or something.

But then they go and make "yo, dark and light deal +50% dmg to each other, that's it."

The result: Dark and Light are superior offensive options, because they have no offensive weakness, but weak defensive options because they have no defensive strength.

Fuck this. At least give them an offensive weakness / defensive strength against their own element.

Pedophiles are sick who need some therapy before they can hurt one, and then became sick bastards in need of "another" therapy after they hurt one.

The question is what the therapy is supposed to be (before and after), and who is going to pay for that.

Currently it's the worst. Hoping that they have themselfes under control and pay their own therapy (whatever that is), and only become active when they do some damage is simply too late, but at the same time they can't be judged and put away if they never did a crime or harmed anyone at all, however sick their thoughts are.

A few months ago, my newspaper had an interview with a pedophile.

He never touched someone, nor consumed CP, and instead goes into therapy for years now, having to pay it out of his own pocket.

He know he is sick, he just fights it with therapy.

EDIT: Checked the article again, he actually consumed CP first, 20 years ago, before he went into therapy himself.

Yeah, ofc they need some business when I'm using their stuff for free.

That's why I was usually only blocking pop ups and the bare minimum.

But it's extreme how crazy they went with online ads. When the ads loaded need more data in my mobile data plan than the content I acutally consume, when the ads are impacting the performance of the side, and disrupt me from reading or watching what I want, that's the moment I say "fuck off".

And by the love of the holy spaghetti monster, everyone went crazy, not only youtube.

That's why I went to Brave, and now I'm blocking as much as I can now.

Even if it's a engineering nightmare with all that pressure deep down, I think some deep sea rover browsing the depths for months would be pretty awesome.

As long as you have another citizenship that should be possible, but I don't know the exact procedure. The only country I know that doesn't allow it's citizen to surrender their citizenship is Iran, there are probably some more.

But becoming stateless is technically illegal by UN law or something like that.

It effects people trying to become citizens. EU generally seems to respect the notion of foreigners having children while overseas. Dropping that rule in the US means that we now have issues because we don't have s ton of laws on citizenship. IE, a child in Germany from two foreigners can be applied for citizenship and qualify despite not being of Germanic descent.

In the change here, a child born in the US from two foreigners that are trying to gain citizenship is no longer citizen by default, and we have no current laws surrounding it that i know of. It's a law that needs other laws made to supplement it otherwise it is stupid.
