Still definitely an option to play that way but I definitely feel like the reasons the game pushes you so hard to at least acknowledge those two areas are strong enough that at least I'd really regret not doing them sooner if I ignored them.

I've got health/dental/vision, car and homeowners insurance. The first three are through work and the latter two are bundled.
Just had a health scare (didn't end up being anything bad) that would have probably drained all of my bank accounts and then some just in urgent care/specialist visits alone but ended up costing me just like $40 total so uh, yeah, I'm definitely of the opinion that it's an extremely good thing to have even if (or perhaps because) our system is pretty fucked overall compared to other countries. --- Let the voice of love take you higher, With this gathering power, go beyond even time! |

Anyone have any issues on PC?PC version is absolutely rock solid from my experience. Runs buttery smooth with frames capped at 120 fps and even has bells and whistles like ultrawide if you have/care about that. I don't use them but apparently the M/K controls are fine too. Somehow I immediately knew that there would be droves of people getting hard filtered by it - same thing happened recently in Wo Long where the first boss had just the slightest level of expectation of you understanding the mechanics and it resulted in a truckload of negative user reviews.

Barely managed to clear my plate in time for this and I'm super excited - this'll be my first Armored Core game, as I imagine it will be for like 90% of its massively expanded player base. Can't wait to see what all the hubbub is about!

Piracy is legit the only true form of preservation for these games, and it's perfectly viable and not even really any more ethically compromised than propping up the scalp bros who'd have you pay hundreds of dollars for a single Gamecube game. Not like the developers or even the publishers are still making money on anything that truly "goes away" like this.

1 is basically just a clean, nigh-perfect revenge movie with really great choreography, cinematography, pacing and tone. 2 does a great job of expanding the world and setting the table for the larger plot, but holy cow did the choreography fall off a cliff. Way, way too much boring and repetitive grappling. 3 has the best action of the first three and is insanely fun while it's good, but has some really, really slow spots that mar it on rewatches. I could watch all the New York stuff at the beginning endlessly though. 2's ending wrote what felt like an impossibly large check and 3's opening cashed it with interest - easily the most excited an action movie has ever made me in a theater. --- Let the voice of love take you higher, With this gathering power, go beyond even time! |

I guess you can feel bad about anyone who does push blue but the concept here is pretty simple and I feel like almost anyone should understand that pushing blue is putting your life on the line completely needlessly.

I remember pretty clearly back when it came out that everyone kind of just looked at it as this massively janky game that ran like hot goat piss, but it definitely feels like its gotten more and more of a passionate cult following over the years. And now there's even a sequel on the horizon - feels like if that takes all the good ideas here (some of which are REALLY good and wildly ambitious for the time or even today) and shaves off all the rough edges we could have a real hit on our hands that elevates perceptions of the original even more. --- Let the voice of love take you higher, With this gathering power, go beyond even time! |

Blanka was the bottom of almost every tier list in the earliest days and shot up exclusively because of Mena bringing it so hard with him. Seeing a character everyone thought was awful sweep EVO is way better than the five mirror match grand finals we had in other games today.

Definitely underrated, or at least conversation and rankings tends to make people think it's far less good than it actually is. My notable weaknesses are sports games (which I don't really play,) MOBAs and until recently fighting games, but that's starting to turn around with GG Strive and SF6. I'm very comfortable with pretty much all the stuff that's generally considered difficult like rhythm games, bullet hells, Souls stuff, character action games, hardcore platformers, etc. I can bust out absurdly long/flashy combos in Tales games, DMC, you name it.
