The other day I wondered aloud what Bradford's career would have looked like with McVay on the Rams back then. I don't watch football but my understanding is that Goff has a bigger arm than Sam, but dude went from an absolute humiliation under Fisher to mvp candidate. So many QBs who busted out of the league probably would have been great if not for the extremely low percentage of competent humans who get hired as coaches. Like Drew Magary wrote about Mahomes to this effect the other day. Putting up just ridiculous numbers and winning every week but if he had gone to the Bucs or something instead we'd probably never know how good he could have been.

Percentage wise they're fine overall if we're talking about my peers. Obviously hanging with the 60 year old guy was never an option. There are just a couple who really annoy me and they're in the best friends gang. And most of them are ridiculously corny.

The people who make plans together here are people I would never hang out with. Most of them I would even avoid eye contact if somehow we wound up at the same bar. Luckily the worst of them would never venture into the city anyway because they'll get shot and robbed of course.

There's a tier of people here who it they invited me over for a barbecue or something I'd at least probably make an appearance. But there are like two people in that tier.

@CaptainHammer Glad to hear it. I've heard good things about Cowboy Bebop and it's on my list. Hopefully it stays good until the end unlike SAO (based on what you said about it before). I haven't been watching much of anything, but every Saturday I hang out with a friend and we watch some My Hero Academia, which, by this point, everyone knows about it and has either seen it or has no interest in watching it. We finished the first season and it's pretty good so far. We also watch the newest episode of this really underground anime called Dragon Ball Super. You probably wouldn't have heard of it.

I could write a dissertation on why and how SAO squandered its potential but it would have been helpful to know before I started that everyone hates that show. That means it's both popular and bad which means people want to like it but they can't. That's now where I am. It should have been 13 episodes and then done forever and the way they extended the story is beyond absurd.

Bebop everyone loves so I think it'll be fine. I've seen 13 of 26 episodes and there hasn't been a bad one yet. Obviously it's showing its age in a couple of ways but also Japanese shows are just behind the times with progressiveness anyway.

I haven't seen My Hero Academia but isn't it kind of like the new Naruto?

How are the newer seasons of Daredevil? I liked season 1 but for some reason didn't watch any of the others. Have you watched Jessica Jones? If so did you like it? I've been wanting to try that one.

THoHH is definitely creepy so far, but there's a family drama element to it as well. Haven't gotten too far into the scary parts yet. I won't write a big review or anything but it's v good. This show is more scary scary whereas Stranger Things is fun scary

The new season I thought was good overall. It was paced pretty well to make the story last for 13 episodes which is not usually the case. Here are my marvel Netflix thoughts based:

Daredevil: seasons 1 and 3 are good, season 2 is mediocre and the parts that people actually like are bad to me
Punisher: snore
Luke Cage: only non Daredevil I finished a season of and it's bad
Jessica: seems good but I never finished S1 and have no interest in returning

I'll reply to the anime post later but gotta get ready now

Also if we're talking shows real quick I want to tell @Ultima_Dragoon that I'm watching Bebop and it's sooooooo gooooooood
