It depends, synthetic oil cleans out the system and it may remove gunk that was actually plugging leaks

This reminds me of that seafoam stuff. Someone did it on an older engine and it went from running ok to leaking like a sieve and ruined it.

Why it's warned to sometimes not do it as the crud might actually be holding it together.

Hmm, I was expecting at least 20+ years.

It really depends on the engine/age/oil. I know old cars really need the zinc and good luck finding 2 stroke oil offline. I highly highly doubt you need either of those two qualities.

When I went to see How to train your dragon 2. I was completely alone until about 45 minutes in, when one of the theater employees came in, walked up to the top corner, across to the other corner and down the stairs before leaving where they entered.

It was very distracting/confusing for a moment.

I assume they were looking for something or seeing if there was much of a mess to clean up.

When I was younger thanks to Gran Turismo 4 and the assistance of other legal stuff I pulled 5 days.

I heavily don't recommend it ever, because of what I do remember was being absolutely paranoid at my own hair trying to attack me and going into panics that it was instead a giant spider trying to kill me. There were also random hullucinations of bugs and melting spots.

I can see why they'd not let you join after it, because it did feel somewhat damaging. I believe afterwards I went to sleep for about 22-26 hours straight. My parents ofcourse were concerned and got onto me for it since they thought I went into a coma or died.

Now I only make it 30-40 if I desire.

Turns out a door switch is so sensitive that it thinks the door is being opened when it's clearly not. Suppose it could be worse, operating when the door is open.

Also a relative got a new washing machine that was DOA, so I can't imagine how fun it was to lug it out and then discover that.

I try default for a moment to form a base line as everyone has to have weird deadzones/acceleration/etc. If it's too sluggish or twitchy I can just bump it up/down and figure out if that's too much or not enough based on what the default was and how much I changed it. Cranking it up or down instantly can lead to controls being erratic and potentially hindering as you faff about with it. Plus using the two results narrows down any fine tuning a bit easier.

Also adding to this I tend to try the rule of 2. Just an example, if there's a slider from 1-10 and the default is 4. If it seems like it could be improved, try 6, if that feels a bit too much, then simply go down to 5. If 5 is still slow then pick your pref between 5 and 6 as you now know how both feel. Further adjustments can be made, but it gets it pretty close for a start.

Mileage may vary depending on the game ofcourse.

How big is the game? If the game's file is over 117 I could see it happening. I don't know what game it'd be, but I do recall with some others due to how ps4 works it basically needs the entire size of the game free to update... because it's weird like that.

I guess it could be something else, but do know that's how the game updates work iirc.
TopicWhy do you use an adblocker CE
Purple_Cheetah

I used to not use one for the longest time, then after nearly a year almost of them trying to push these 'free games' ads on me and them becoming more intrusive such as trying to redirect or do stuff I had enough. Nothing like an ad trying to force a browser hijacker to seal the deal.

Been using one for quite some years now, I think it was around 2010-2012 I got fed up with it. I have it set to allow some non-disruptive ones so that they at least get something, but all the bothersome ones can bugger off.

Funny thing is I didn't mind occasional ads as they've pointed me to legit things I enjoyed/wanted. They got so aggressive they made me block em.

A few months back when the extensions for firefox broke was an awful day, because I saw how many ads I was missing out on. It's awful.
TopicWas PS1 or N64 more powerful?
Purple_Cheetah

iirc N64, but PS1 had the larger data storage for reading.

Also due to how they read and functioned it lead to games being designed differently, such as ps1 being larger slower loads favoring static images (ff7/ff8) and n64 having more readily available stuff (mario party/mario 64). Never really occured to me until seeing a video pointing out that was why some games were so different or impossible on the other.

Found it, it's actually a bit interesting. As at the time I didn't really care either way as I had both. That said, it's interesting to know the console's limitations heavily played into game design and why some multi-plats were garbage.

Ferrari will cost you an arm and a leg often, even for minor stuff. Even the radios at one point were specially paired with the car and wouldnt work unless you went through some hassle with the factory and paid iirc.

Corvette is a cheaper material, often plastic and uses more readily available parts.

The only thing I hate is the praise the corvette gets and how exclusive ferrari is... they're very stingy when it comes to their name and who they sell cars to.... such as you need to own x amount of ferrari's for y years, and then you might get allowed the chance to spend crazy amounts for the car.

As for the actual performance it really comes down to what generation/year/era you're talking as they do vary, with the more recent ones being closer in comparison outside of the super high end ferraris.

That's an interesting take. I felt like the movie was tryna make you feel like shit even after doing okay in life, and using the worst outlet to make you feel better.

I suppose it could go that way as well.

The way I always saw it, was that you shouldn't let your possessions run/control your life. When you're hitting the point where you need matching furniture or the perfect outfit and it dictates everything else you do, you should probably step back.

It's like money... money and debt runs the world. So sometimes you have to just let it go and fall back to more primal/basic desires and needs. Not to say you should ignore money and such, but if you don't live/experience life then what's the point. You're not taking your khakis with you.

Norton's character was becoming a slave to work and making his ikea furniture perfect. Pitt was a way for him to snap and break out of it via the other extreme.

The viper has been concluded for like 2-3 years now, so that's why it's no longer relevant. There was also that unique V10 sound you rarely found elsewhere in the US.

I also have a bias hatred for the vette, because for years I've known someone who thinks the vette is God's gift to man. Seriously go look at any car in the world and the answer will be some form of 'why would you want suicide doors/style/expensive/affordable/etc when you can have a vette'
