Do you know whether it has a multi-time feature? I know with the one here if you press 'cook' time/power, then 'cook' again, enter a second time/power and press start it'll run two settings.

It's great when I get a stouffers that allows me to do high and then 50%, because I can actually use this feature. Outside of that I honestly don't use it... unless I'm bored.

Could you be pressing a second timer command somehow?

As soon as I saw bronco come out with all of those on it, I groaned. I knew it was gonna have issues, because it's what made it super easy to get under and upset/flip last season. So many doo-dads it gets stuck on the floor and gets knocked around. Doesn't help it lost the spatula though.

I was not expecting so many bots to come apart this episode, it was like a salvage yard with all the parting out.

Gruff's fire was damn pretty.

I never used it as an insult against some thing living. Might have used gay, but that's mostly due to my own bullying and being confused when young. I've definitely insulted inanimate objects that have astronomically stupid or question requirements when angered by it, because some are pretty daft and why I've officially retired for a second time from a game after 5 years.

I still use it though in my vocabulary, but that's mostly to do with mechanical reasons. Such as engine/throttle advance and R. It's just how it's always been, the problem is those terms got applied to humans... and that's where it got messy. I can't think of any applications outside of engine/throttle controls where it's needed. To be fair even automobiles that have a lever for advance and R are usually pre 1940's, so it's limited. Unless you count a semi's engine brake.

Since gamefaqs won't even let me post it I'm gonna make it a literal hard R out of spite. *squints*

I'm really curious to see how effective/capable sidewinder is. It's basically just cutting out the bait and rotate while making it a drive-by style. Plus it has a wedge/ramp for trolling.

Was wondering when they were gonna show bronco and we even get hydra back. So that's something I'm looking forward to.

I'm a bit concerned for hypershock, because it's not exactly known for being durable and monsoon has proven to be a bit of a mean hitter in the past.

Also I'm not sure if this is an indication, but to see petunia and marvin both being in their second bonus fight after having lackluster performance in previous bonus fights. Not to mention bonus fights being all duds outside of the rumble(at least it was the only rumble so far). I'm not expecting much outside of that fight beyond them being in the box at the same time.

They can be useful... Usually it's when they're just small wedges with magnets underneath to secure their spot under an enemy bot.

Yeah, but in this case SoW's minibot got stuck under SoW, holding the wrong bot up for a brief moment(at least it was effective at it) only to then get hit by the spinning hammer once they seperated.

Seeing it get murdered in the slow motion highlight/recap was amusing. Usually it's the opposing minibot that gets obliterated, but seeing as it was friendly fire it was like it said 'I'm sorry, master' and was punished thusly.

I'm not sure it was off so much as hammers being so ineffective of a weapon that even when you are perfectly on, it still looks underwhelming. I mean Shatter got like 50 hits in that fight and Wan Hoo was still a largely working bot. If any other weapon type got 50 hits in, there would be just scrap-metal at the end. Hammerbots have to work twice as hard for half the results.

Oh I'm already well aware of the downsides to accuracy/timing based weapons vs spin it up and just hope it makes contact. I was mostly refering to the first portion of the fight where it didn't quite seem to have timing or driving down and was just shoved around without really attacking, but eventually they got it. The whole 'get hit and shoved around' for 20 seconds won't work too well against some of the more lethal spinners or even some of the others. They even got upset/controlled for a bit later. I mean, the armor seems nice, but it can only do so much.

Rewatching it, seeing SoW's mini bot get obliterated and sent across the box by its own was just as amusing as the first. Talk about friendly fire, not to mention the trip up just prior.

The guy's hair and shoes shows this isn't the first questionable decision he's made.

It seems from watching it there's 2 families that must somehow know each other from a previous encounter/relationship and they started front'n on each other, because that's obviously the place to do it. Can't tell for sure, but it seems to do with ownership/custody of the kids? It got physical, then at some point the tan shirt who is/was on the red shirt's side like a gf wound up getting the wrath after the initial confrontation even though she was 'backing him up' resulting in her getting punched/pounded on.

To be fair the guy was saying he was ready to go to jail and acts like that, wouldn't be suprised if he has issues.

The whole time though I was pretending it was someone who jacked up his ride in the background. Then there's that one mini figure with the swinging arms. It was a bit surreal.

Simple, the infrared pulse code is the same.

It's supposed to be different for each tv brand so that for example samsung and lg don't work together, but some buttons will still function as the same or different. If your fan has a remote then good chances are it has an infrared beam. You can look at the remote and see if it has a light(like a lightbulb, not color) or very dark red, almost black, cover somewhere on it.

It's nothing super rare, but annoying.

Its replacement was bigger/better and barely half the cost. :/ In fact I still have it being used because it's given no trouble and looks good, especially after I went back and recalibrated the sharpness. Feels like a brand new tv in comparison.

I'm a bit late, mostly because I was off elsewhere and dealing with slightly more time critical stuff.

Anyhoo, it's nice to see witch doctor sorta dialed in for once after its first season. They had a slight design flaw previous seasons and first aired match this one they combusted, so it's nice to see it actually win fairly convincingly and not explode. On the other hand I do feel somewhat bad for shredderator.

Speaking of, I also feel somewhat bad for minotaur, but then again they've been such a force to fear and this is what happens when you try to improve your ability to do more damage per hit and wind up potentially screwing with a proven design. I was also kinda rooting for gigabyte anyways, because not many full body spinners seem to survive long term. It's like they give themselves brain damage and just stop every fight. Fittingly it also faulted in this match as well...

I'm glad to see shatter actually function. I'm sure it'll get trashed against some of the other bots down the road, because it seemed a bit 'off' even during this fight where it got shoved around a fair bit and didn't exactly devastate so to speak. Will be interesting to see how effective the armor design works out.

Either way, fairly decent episode with some interesting matches.

I'd say it's more of a ratio thing instead of a static number. To simply say 4 or 6 is too vague.

I mean if you had a 1 that went into 3-4 you could be a grower.
3 into 4, just a small/modest shower.

Now I'm wondering if there's someone who shrinks. Like it's so worn out/relaxed when flaccid, so it firms up and becomes dense by shrinking at least an inch. I can't imagine so, but you never know.

And ofcourse before I hit post that above one comes out.

There's a spot down the road it'd be perfect for and I've seen some do it. They ofcourse get onto you for doing it.

It's a 4 way with 2 gas stations on 2 corners of the same side, so the south half of the 4 way for SE and SW. You can easily cut through because it's got a very large in/out and even some other buildings nearby. Great way to avoid a normal 4 way stop. Doesn't have lights in the normal sense, just the blinking red 'hey, there's an intersection here'

I suppose one way to do it, is to pull in as if about to get gas, but then slowly go around and pass through. Could use the excuse you changed your mind or saw the price of something, or mask yourself with all the cars. I probably wouldn't advise it.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

What are dose games like?

Well they are roguelikes where you play as a Pokemon and battle against other Pokemon while exploring a dungeon. They have a pretty good story compared to the main Pokemon games, but most of all I just like the fact you can actually play as a Pokemon.

Whats the best one to start with or which is the best one overall iyo?

Oh wait how'd I not see this. Explorers of sky is probably the 'best' in terms of content and difficulty imo. After that there's 1 or 2 on the 3ds but they dumbed it down a lot and reduced the pokemon count. There's also red/blue rescue team iirc, which is similiar to sky/time/darkness but older and a little disjointed/less refined. Sky has all gen 1-4 pokes and bonus content/fixes over time/darkness. Forget what rescue team has, and the portal ones on 3ds have maybe 100-150 from random ranges.

I know in red/blue and explorers you were basically a human that turned into a pokemon based on an rng quiz. You encounter a pokemon you pick to become your permanent partner in a world of pokemon. Can recruit more and it's fairly deep/challenging for what it is. I highly recommend it. It may seem corny for someone older, but man... it's underrated and easy to overlook due to the main line games and off shoots in general getting regarded as 'bad' by default. I actually enjoy it far more than I ever did the main games due to the aspects of it.

I just noticed there was a newer pmd, super mystery dungeon. I don't know much about it, might be good, but I know gates of infinity was inferior to explorers.

Based on my general location experience I'd say it's whataburger as well.

Some years back Wendy's changed something and now their pickles taste like raw cucumbers. I don't know if this is normal or just the area, but it can go fuck right off with that. Pickles should taste like pickles, ya know like everyone else. I like em still to an extent, but the grease is something else. Probably why I actually prefer BK over wendy's 80-90% of the time.

Whataburger for all its hype I've found is very very close to sonic. To be honest they're next to each other and even going to other ones it's the same. It might very well be the exact same source/truck for all I know. It's very meh, considering their commercials make em out to be some holy burger that everyone obeys.

Their roof also makes me feel like they're being tented and fumigated. I haven't had them in a very long time so I can't compare hardee's/carl's, don't really care for checker's/rally's(they're ok, but actually prefer the hotdogs and fries tbh), and krystal is alright/unique for hitting that special spot.

Sounds pretty dumb, but she wasn't even in the vehicle and could have been worse(so many people swerve to avoid squirrels and wind up in a pole/ditch/head on). If she had hazards on and it wasn't a corner or low visibility area then I guess it's 'ok'

The real question is what's going on with the second driver. Sounds like it was in a low visibility area or they weren't properly paying attention. If I see a compact suv/crossover dead stopped in the road I tend to notice it, unless it's obscured or I'm busy with something else.

She still probably shouldn't have stopped, but in this case I'd put a lil more blame on hitting a stopped car. I read the time and initially thought maybe it was at night which is understandable and has happened to a relative, but this was the afternoon. I bet she was mucking around on the phone or just driving dumb.

Yes, it's confirmed 16 episodes. We're still getting more total fights overall than last season due to the episodes being 2 hours, plus we get the extra interviews and tech demonstrations back in the pits. I know some fans just want more action, but I like the extra fluff between the battles as well.

I guess I did the math wrong and might just be how it's put together. I don't mind the bonus fluff so to speak, but it does seem like less fights for some reason. I'll wait til it's done before I rain the hate, because one gripe I had about last year was it dragging on forever and then the last episode is 4 fights including a bonus exhibition.

Also fun fact, I opened the calculator on my pc after not using it for a bit and it was practically full screen. I have never been so startled by a calculator on a computer.

There's 16 episodes, and every bot (that actually might have a chance to make the tournament) needs to have at least 4 fights before the tournament starts. Plus they have to devote one episode to the mid-season Desperado Tournament.

Yeah I know, I was expecting it on the 5th episode though, not the 4th. Seeing as there's still almost 1/4th that haven't been air yet.

Is it confirmed it's only 16 total? If so I'm both a bit relieved and disappointed. Nevermind, just saw it myself. :( Sad as that means fights will most likely be cut, but on the plus side it should be concluded a bit sooner.

Reward is that you get to worship and praise Him for all eternity, most likely following certain rules/aspects. Wait a second.

Basically can't do anything so that you're rewarded with not doing anything later. Also pretty sure you'd be scolded for complaining, but according to what I've been told you'll be so stricken with wanting to praise you won't want to do anything else, but worship. Yeah, I don't know.

I just find it weird with all the media out there that features guns that a person wouldn't know what a shotgun is.

Eh, honestly never even seen a gun in 35 years. maybe when i'm around cops. but whenever i get invited to go out to the range it just never interested me. plus my only knowledge of shotguns is through halo. i was always under the impression that for a shotgun to be effective it had to be close range and this seems like mid range to me.

To be fair video games in general tend to screw that up. Battlefield is one of the only ones where it comes close. It's lead to so many believing shotguns are perfectly safe out beyond 3-5 meters when reality it's probably closer to 100, even then you've got metal pellets smacking you. In the face that'd be unfun regardless, in the back you might be ok. I've seen super super long tubed shotguns that are several feet/yards long, so they'd be more accurate ofcourse. Can't remember what ranges they were firing.

Then there's slugs and other specialized shells.

I wasn't sure what to expect.

They could have at least used an AA-12, which actually is banned/restricted last I checked.

That's a hell of a stretch though...

This also applies to family/friends, and even politics/religion.

I remember reading that advice.

Then for year after year after year. Every single time we went on an out of state vacation/visit to relatives within hours without fail it was arguements over politics and money. It's supposed to be a time of visiting and trying to relax. Instead within hours it'd start and go on for the entire week or two. Clinton this, Kennedy that, lottery this, etc. It'd get pretty heated and even as a kid I was about to tell everyone to shut the hell up.

Probably why I prefered to go stay with other relatives or hang out with the neighbor's dog, tbh.
