So at the moment I asked, what real impactful actionable difference will a Bernie Sanders vs Joe Biden presidency have on peoples lives.

Also, I actually know a meaningful difference between the two off the top of my head, something that would be different immediately day 1. Its easy. But you guys follow the guy and not the real issues to the point you don't even know what you are actually fighting for beyond the name. M4A is not the answer, its not passable, everyone knows it. Even a public option is likely wishful thinking for at least 2 years of the presidency.

Yeah, no public option ever is clearly Bernie's PoV.

You guys get so wrapped up in Bernie or bust sometimes you really lose sight of what your guy actually believes in. Also I cant believe Trump got talked out of quarantining New York at the very least. I've been calling for locking the city down for weeks and yet somehow people thought it was a good idea to talk Trump out of stricter lockdowns of the city(What the fuck does a CDC travel advisory even accomplish at this point).

Going to reiterate that while I think Cuomo is right on the needs of supplies for the city he is mostly still also an idiot.

I think the main issue is, when you look at things like this, what you are looking at to actually make it believable is either a pattern or evidence, neither of those exist. All the things BIden has been "accused" of by anyone else were more things that would have been seen as polite years ago(Biden is old). This is obviously miles beyond anything anyone else is accusing him of. By someone who themselves has creepy "I love Russia" postings of their own.

With Kavanaugh you had at the very least physical evidence(A year book). And even then there was still absolutely doubt to the story(We know he was a creepy drunk, at least, but beyond that I think probably not something you could say conclusively).

I mean, how dare a person get $15 an hour for...3 months.

And again, unemployment has work requirements. If these people arent working by choice and the virus is over, they don't qualify for unemployment. At least in California, we need either proof of looking for work or a valid reason for not working to qualify.

You cant just choose to not work and get unemployment.

And to match those 13 weeks, all employers have to do is pay...$15 an hour.

Yes, extended 13 weeks. What about people that were already unemployed? The timer on their benefits is already running down. These people will hit a point they have to work earlier. There arent going to be many jobs for the next few months and they are prime candidates to fill them.

The economy is going to do nothing but lose jobs for the next few months as this virus spreads. I think you neglect the fact that there will be people running out of unemployment benefits at points here, they will be able to fill what little jobs do become available.

And again, 4 months of a living wage in what is going to be the greatest economic crisis of our lifetimes in all likelihood.

You cannot just quit and get unemployment. You have to have good reason. If someone has no good reason to not work and files for unemployment they will be denied.

This is not broken in my favor in the slightest. I would trade any excess money to be able to watch baseball or other sports on TV. Nothing about this is good, I don't enjoy this.

But your whole argument is basically that these workers are essential, so to that, I argue, they should be paid as such. The demand for them is clearly there, you admit that people need groceries/etc.

Again, people are going to have money for...4 months? Oh no the economy is in trouble people arent going to be poor for...4 months.

We are about a week, maybe less, maybe slightly closer to 2 weeks depending, from the number of deaths per day creeping over 1000. The way this is spreading to multiple major cities at once in 2-3 weeks this is going to get ugly and I expect to the markets to reflect that.

Don't think they will tank as I've said I think we just about hit bottom with the last crash, but they might hit that same bottom.

Only thing that could change this is if we have a celebrity or major political figure find their way into the death total.
