For the record almost all of my money is going to go into ETF's or no fee MF's.

The smaller investments are mostly gambling(You wont lose as much as you do gambling though). And sticking with things long term you will almost certainly end up not losing money(you will fall behind inflation possibly.

The argument is that if Trump stays and continues to be such a colossal fuck up it will lead to even more gains in the house and senate for progressives in 2022, against the worry of Biden dissatisfaction resulting in blue and purple seats going red.

It is not an argument I agree with, but I certainly understand it.

Except Trump is going to have 2+ Supreme Court seats to fill in that period in all likelihood and that is going to doom a whole bunch of left sided policies for 30-45 years.

If Biden wins this and the economy goes back to being strong, the progressive cause will be set back for a generation. People won't take another chance on a candidate offering change and relief for the working class again after Trump. If you don't want the same neoliberal policies of Reagan, Clinton, Bush, and Obama, you need to swallow your pride and vote for Trump.

Biden is literally going to implement a whole bunch of progressive ideals and move the needle for what is considered "progressive" left. It will make what we consider progressive now easier for the country and world to swallow.

You also need to pay a signficant portion of the healthy to not work.

I said it in another topic I think, we should expand delivery services(Not amazon, give other services a foot in the door here). Hell even big chains that are starting to lose customers to people doing grocery shopping on amazon, start giving them incentives to set up and expand upon their own delivery services.

We should be building up the infrastructure to keep people afloat in an economy of no social interaction while setting up businesses for more sustainable futures at the same time.
