Reaganomics is probably still today one of the most braindead and purposely sabotaging economic idea today, but sad to say it wasn't really the main cause of the economic crisis today. The period in which it was active was probably not long enough to do such a significant long term damage. The economy technically didn't suffer as a whole (I mean the rich just got so much richer so overall it wasn't a loss) and it didn't directly result in a recession later, though one could surmise some of the later major scale economic scams like the housing bubble crisis could have been an aftermath.

But yeah he wasn't even remotely great, but at least he didn't cause anarchy

Yeah it's definitely a bit of a shocker first time through. It is a smaller project, so I think it's unfair to compare it to a more realized work of similar themes. I'm of course talking about a VN called Totono. If you google it, you'll get directed to the actual full title. Even knowing that game involves meta elements, you'll get a ton of surprise and intrigue from it. It uses the meta narrative as a part of the drama and the emotions, rather than it being a gimmick.

My main complaint for DDLC is that it doesn't expand on every character enough, even though there are plenty of hints thrown here and there. I don't blame the game or the dev though because that's probably more of an issue with scale and the size of the team. Totono clearly had the level of budget and developmental time to realize its full vision, which is why it's so good.

But yeah I loved the DDLC experience. Def recommend you play Totono some time later. Be warned though for it does have some sexual content, but it's totally justified in a way

I mean I lived there during the period, and it mostly came down to "don't leave the fan on when you go to sleep." This gives credence to the theory of a govt effort to curb energy usage (since Korea was still relatively poor at the time). It wasn't like a big thing, even though I feel a lot of people in the US for whatever reason loves talking about this more than... well honestly Koreans lol. There was a person who died, and a fan was involved, but even then people understood it wasn't the direct cause, just that there was a danger of leaving a fan on long enough if they had some condition. You couldn't do much about the conditions directly, so being careful with a fan was the next best thing.

The wiki article even talks about how the rumor might've spread. But superstition is common in every single country. The US often believes in worse shit, and they also kept tips for whatever reason lol. Even after the pandemic where the idiocy of there being a lack of tips for takeouts vs serving, which frankly is less costly and less of an effort than a well packed entire meal, only stays over reasonable wages because of some unexplained tradition. It's just a random ass thing, except Koreans weaned off the fan death shit in a few years and we've had tips forever.

Just using tips as an example of the randomly stupidity. It doesn't say anything about the culture or whatever, but I have heard some people use it as a justification that Korea's some backwards country, and I find that a pretty disturbing thought. Says more about that person tbh

Yeah every team tends to need at least 1 single target dmger and 1 AOE dmger for Spire. Some AOE dmgers are so wild that they can make up for not having single target dmger tho, like Areia or Victoria or Charon etc. Your converters can sometimes double as DPS too, like Carleen. People who use only Migard for Wood tends to really struggle with getting past the DPS checks

Either way, if you have your DPSes leveled up, honestly, you don't even really need the rest of the team to be leveled up. My fire spire run is proof of that, where that team literally had 1 beefed up DPS and the rest played support. I actually don't know how much AOE DPS Charon has actually, but depending on how easy it is to get his AOE and how big it is, you might also have to beef up a secondary DPS.

One thing about a funneled team though, their tankiness tends to be pretty shitty, so you gotta play pretty conservatively

Yeah I have Areia naturally pulled, was just going for her shard thingies.

She's probably the best DPS wood unit by a pretty big leap, and just mathematically, no other wood units even come close to the amount of damage she can do. Her active's drawback might seem a bit scary, but they stay active during Aurora time, and while it's up, she basically completely destroys most enemies that take up more than one space. Migard is the most versatile and powerful unit because of her utility and range, which Areia usually needs another unit to enable her, but yeah if you have the units to make Areia shine, she's a beast.

But if you're not making a wood team, I wouldn't go out of the way to buy her, since getting her takes like way more star shards. Still not sure if it's worth going for the 5* char shards rather than that 100 cost 6* shard thing. I only did it cuz Areia is cute >.>

Meanwhile Michael is cracked. She has one of the best dash moves I've seen lol. It's like Sylva's except you get to stop at any square on the map while doing damage to stuff in your path. Her passive is kinda meh at base tho. But she's another one of those units that don't rely on any color so she can probably fit in any team

There's a summary of the context of this tournament and how this team came about in the comment. Originally Bora was supposed to be their teammate, but she went on a break, leading to Astel to fill in for the spot just about completely randomly. So yeah it ended up leading up to possibly the craziest most anime tournament story I think I've ever heard.

Lol Illusion Connect or Touhou fucking spoils me so hard in general, but I don't think most games are nearly as generous. IC does "make up" for it by having ridiculous Awakening requirements on the character shards tho, and not much point in having dupes of chars in Touhou :P

Furnitures usually come from those weekly shop thingies or in missions or as some reward for another thing. Not too many chances to get them overall so those should definitely be the first things you try to get

I dont know if the cost goes up even more per chapter (I assume it does because its been rising steadily), but 20 prisms per stage is ridonk, especially with a 6 minute recharge and a pretty low max. I can only do 6 stages before I have to wait/use stored up prisms from the colossus :<

Yeah tbh, when stuff was costing 15 and I had stam recharge packets left, it wasn't so bad, but later evo mats you have to run 20-25 stam for which really drains quickly. I'll prob say something about it too

Btw, I did hear the comfort lvl does matter for the Colo material recharge, so I recommend getting every furniture you can find

I'm not a big idol guy either, but Holo wouldn't be nearly as big without the idolisms. At least like in Niji, the popularity or crowd discrepancy btwn girls who were doing idol and those who wouldn't be considered an idol would be pretty huge. Because they're all basically considered to be in an idol group together, when one gets popular, all the others get popular at the same time. Nothing stops them from doing any combination of games/singing/dancing streams either, and girls like Coco even learn to enjoy singing due to the status

But if I'm being super honest, I think Suisei's really the only one making a high end effort, especially when she's not really being backed by any brand and is basically an indie within a giant idol group (but with a lot of money to work with lol). Azki is obviously like a more pure form of idol but she doesn't do enough of other things so she ends up feeling like an outsider. But in terms of striving for constant improvement and not being content with coasting, it's Suisei for sure. She's doing a song per month, and by the end of it, she really should have enough original songs to pull out an album, and it'll be an album of songs entirely set up and funded by herself.

Other than that, tbh most girls kinda do a cover or a compilation song every once in a while and that's about it. Most of their shows are covers too. That's cuz idol is just a marketing gimmick for Cover, and they aren't really an idol focused company in reality, otherwise they'd set aside some bigger picture plan and fund to let each girl shine as an idol.

Ya, the hardest thing there is getting every elem spire to floor 15, but every spire is beatable from 10~15 with the same team because most of the stages are gimmick stages. If you can't get past the one with the rocks and big mons, try breaking all the rocks asap and getting the zappy things. Those alone nearly kill everything, which is important cuz those mons have mega boosted hp otherwise. 8 days is plenty tho imo

Charon is considered one of the best units in the game atm. I wouldn't hesitate to say he's the best atm but only because some units haven't reached their true potential yet. That'll come with time and the right type of content or supportive units.

I think people atm have a pretty bad idea of which units are good. You can math out what makes a unit really good, like how easy it is to proc their chain or how well they work with other units. But I frequently just see tier lists that are purely based on dps in a game with a team that generally has like 1-2 dps and rest utility lol.

Basically just logic it out and click on ascension to see what their stats end up looking like vs their damage mods. It's a lot of work but when you get stuck, it's ultimately the best way to not waste time

Man Coco's last meme review was both the greatest and the saddest. I think after Matsuri's, I never missed it live. Seeing the live comments and contributing to the chaos was a big part of the fun. Since you're using a water team, Philishy is absolutely the best healer. She's also usable in other elements because her skills don't have much to do with water specifically, and she can teleport anywhere on the map at fairly low cd for the payoff. She's... Err... 1 dollar lol. If you want.

Also the old seal is unlocked once you beat ch 7. The requirements are excruciating, and it is time gated (requires 10 days of login and unlocks other reqs that'll take a few days that don't get counted b4 the 10 days). But they do come at max awoken and stuff I believe. One task is to beat spire lvl 30 of that element. Well... I made the foolish mistake of trying to do it with a hilariously underleveled team... But I did it.... Oh god thank god its stamless...


I think the req was like Ascend 2 lvl 30 by the 30th floor so... Yeah lol 2 of the units are barely ascend 1 lvl 1. Oh god this was just pure pure pain. Still on a long gacha drought too

Yeah that boss is pretty difficult. I'm afraid she has an even harder fight later tho very different format from that fight. So 3*ing hard stages pretty much come down to timing your lead swaps well and being aware how you can heal, which is generally 5 tiles. When you go below 50%, swap to your healer and start matching 5s. Also you can check the boss range by click amd holding them.

Also yes stam is a big problem, but I tend to do the non-stam required content during the downtime.

Also in Tenka, I have a team of all lvl 60s now, and I managed to get the puzzle 50 stam one 3*'d too. Was so much easier when your whole team can tank at least one ult from the asshole countering girls

Nothing much else in other games. On like a 70 pull drought on Alch Stars lol

Holy fuck... So Astel/Reid/Noah team won an Apex tournament called the Kagayaki Tournament... That had multiple current or recently ex pros and several predators. They literally won by a single point, which they got by Astel 1v3 clutching then soloing from the 12th place and picking up 3 kills with the last kill being a revenge kill on Yukio whose team killed Reid and Noah earlier. Absolutely insane win

Try to like forge it, and there's a way to unlock. I'm not sure if clicking the little lock will do it on every UI, which is annoying. When you're sacrificing a dupe for an upgrade, it lets you unlock on that screen, too. But on the inventory, I don't think you can. Gotta click forge then unlock, I'm pretty sure

One thing for Alchemy Stars, if you beat Ch 8, which is the furthest content in the main story so far, you unlock some side quests to get really powerful 6*s for free. There's one per element, and they all seem to use the same token or status or whatever, and you can get all of them, just that you have to do them one by one.

Seems it's semi-recommended to go for them asap, because some of the events are time-gated, and your current actions won't count towards the quests. But I've also heard there's no real benefit to getting them asap.

Probably for people who want to fill up their team, and this will probably be the primer units

Maybe you can ask on reddit. I'm honestly not 100% sure. If you unlock it, it should absolutely show up as an option. You can always just buy an SSR boots from the shop though. Should cost 200 of those rare spirit looking things, but if you do exploration everyday, it only takes like 5 explorations with the extra benefits
