Hmmm maybe you got it equipped? I'd double check if it's being used for anything, or just unlock what you want to sacrifice from the inventory screen. I vaguely remember running into a similar problem but I just had to unequip I think.

Also, in Alchemy Stars, I thought I'd try a full 6* team for funsies and... oh boy... it almost feels like I've opened some kind of a forbidden fruit or something because this team is scarily good. My elements are fire(lead)/water/water/grass/grass too, which makes it so water and grass tiles let 3 ppl do damage, and I still have the option of lead changing for my fire lead to be a sub. Of course electric tiles are duds, but it ends up working out because they can be fodder for aurora time.

It's a bit of a shame cuz I quite like my water team that I worked on for the last 2 days, but... also all the 6*s are waifus... argh I dunno

It levels up to 30 (I don't entirely remember but I think you only need gold to upgrade), then you need an inscription. It's easier honestly, but I've been kiiinda skimping out on the inscriptions so it's stuck on lvl 30 lmao, but pretty good stats and worth the sacrifices imo

Ok I don't even know what's going on, but pulled another 6* in Alchemy Stars, this time a water girl named Connolly. She's followed by giant oboes with... eh? Ghost tentacles?

But lol her kit is literally just damage. The end. Literally nothing else, though her equipment might give her some other thingies. I imagine that means she's pretty powerful, since she's a 6*.

Yeah I can't even build all these folks. I'm pretty sure I'm pretty far above the expected returns. I think around a 100 rolls or 110 or so total, and I got 5 6*s

Meanwhile... it finally happened. The 3~8% run... So I stopped fixing my calcs cuz... I kept running into something unexpected. Like I kept changing around the way I approached 2nd and 3rd floor, like to the point of taking into account S.Lulu's 4th turn enemy debuff, which I started to time right b4 going to the 3rd floor so I can take out Shiraka immediately without wasting Salucia's ult. Basically I did so many runs that I maximized it, but it still probably only came up to about 5-6% chance of success

Anyways, I finally got 3* on it oh god... finally I can auto in peace

In Tenka, I managed to win the lvl 60 part-time dungeon. But... a person died at literally the last attacking enemy. so sadly I can't auto it. I worked out the probabilities based on my current line-up.

So first turn, I have 36% chance of surviving with everybody alive, because if Sable or the Samurai girl asshole attacks my Lulu or Aiko, they're dead. Everybody else in my team can survive. After that, I can KO Sable, so I have 60% chance to survive the 2nd turn, which comes out to 21% to survive overall. Then I defend with S.Lulu and Salucia and attack Iris, and that's also a 60% chance to survive because Lulu and Aiko generally needs to heal and can't survive the Samurai girl's ult and Iris' attack simultaneously. That comes out to ~13%, because after this, I start to have actives and I can get to the last floor guaranteed. There is no scenario where I can lose somebody because I can burst the threats and merely defend on the healer to charge up all my skills before the next floors.

Then at the very very end, I have Shiraka left alive with Kaede, who isn't a threat, who uses an ult before I can kill her... which has 60% chance to kill somebody. Overall, I have 5% to 3* this lololol. I can obviously beef my team up but the resource dungeons are super stam cost heavy... and I'm falling behind on the summer item progression to begin with

Welp, a single upgrade pushed Lulu to be able to survive the first turn hit from Sable... I dunno how much that bumps my probability. I thiiiink that's .05/.6 * .8 which is 7%

Also green type lol. Kinda getting crowded in that element for me. Also in that 10 pull, I pulled 2 other 5*s, one a cute fire girl. It gave me 2 achievements, for pulling 3 5* or higher. Requirement says 3 5*s, but seems 6*s count too so it's really 5* or higher.

I heard there's an achievement for pulling 10 5*s or higher in a single 10 pull lmfao. Yeah... that's definitely happening

Some Alchemy Stars guide. I think the useful 3-4* guide thing is pretty good. Seems Ms. Blanc on a water team is pretty difficult to replace. She's seemingly the most consistent orb changer on blue. From using a lot of other elements, yeah a guarantee 4 blue around you is really damn good. Also used Lightning subs and yeah Nadine and Tessa are very very useful. I haven't tried Brock, but supposedly he massively speeds up farming lul

But it seems 3-4*s don't get a secondary element. Have to wonder how much of a detriment that is.

Seems the guide is implying most 5-6*s are good tho. From experience, the skills that say like do damage til the end of stage in the 4 cardinal directions and change all those panels into one element kind of skills are really good, despite being like 4-5 cd. I think every element have at least 1 unit that does that. 6*s seem to have a bit more individuality when it comes to actives though, but 5*s seem to be similar, probably so no element is skewed in terms of balance

Prob pretty good. Honestly difficult to have enough resources to raise everybody as you go anyways, so having 3 main units you're pumping your resources into and the rest just being units that you need is not so bad. Ms. Blanc is so damn good cuz she makes Vice's ability do so much more damage, so it's possible you won't find somebody that fits just as well. Pretty similar to how I got my team set up too, and it's been working for me. Being in an elemental disadvantage pretty noticeably suck.

Also after having played the story, I'm a Carleen simp now. Her garter belt is amazing and she's pretty cool. Haven't pulled a 6* in about 50 rolls tho >.>

It's ok to have units competing for tiles. Sometimes you want one, sometimes you want the other.

I haven't really looked up which units are good, but I used to run a 2 6* and the rest lightning comp, but I recently switch to a fire lead and all grass sub comp and it's been kicking major ass.

The comp is Victoria/Nikinis/Areia/Sikare/Uriah, though I imagine that means very little to most ppl lul. I certainly don't know what units even exist in this game. Sikare is like mega broken though. Her skill basically guarantees 15 combo, and you usually win the wave the turn you use her skill. She also does like a map range targeting, and really the worst thing is her damage, but you get her attack off most of the time so. Areia is a unique one where she gives 20% attack buff then the next turn you get a -50% penalty on attack and defense. Sounds bad on paper, but with Sikare, you get an obscenely strong turn with Areia's active. So yeah my 5*s kinda carrying

Also lol Alchemy Stars main story is like oh noes my race is ded :(. And in a side story on the Colossus, it's like "who stole the food from the pantry? Was it you, a giant man with cat helmet?"

Cool, after like stage 3-7, you unlock a Kama-Zone esque mode in Alchemy Stars. It would seem your party's levels aren't taken into account, tho their awakenings and shit seem to. Either way a 3* that I didn't grow at all was doing impressive damage, and this is like a way to test out a lot of different teams. Pretty neat

I think all you have to do for reroll is to just sign out in the start screen and just make a new acc. Well I haven't tried lul. I'm usually the yolo first acc kinda guy anyways, except Touhou in which I'm staying with a 2nd acc.

Also rolled Yukari in Touhou. Finally have a limited. I admit Remilia or Flandre was highest in my wishlist but Yukari is probably 3rd, Kasen being 4th so I'm happy

Hmmm their main site I think had a characters page, tho not 100% sure. Also, yeah it seems complicated at first but there are enough tutorials, and your playstyle will ultimately be largely based on whoever the f you roll. It's more about getting a good comp so your plays don't feel too awkward. You'll probably see as you play.

I think in general, your leader can be any element, but preferably all of your subs should be one element. You can change your leader on the fly 3 times per stage, so it's not absolutely necessary, but for me, I have 3 chars of the same elem and 2 characters that I swap leader with based on the situation.

Also the auto kinda worries me lmao. The CPU finds the best pattern really quickly but don't seem to have much of an AI in terms of targeting...

Also some gameplay tips, every char has like a different attacking range from like 7 combo to 11 combo to 15 combo or something like that (actually, varies between characters. I wish the game had better UI to show this tho lul). Everybody has a single ranged attack when they pass by enemies. They also only attack if they're the leader or if you're matching the same element, which should be obvious.

Big monsters have beefy HP, but they also take every damage your attacks have range for, so like if your stuff does 3x3 attack and the monster's size is 3x3, it hits them 9 times.

So it's probably also good to have both big single damage options and big fat AOE attack options. Iunno yet

Also, I'm that rare breed of weirdo that mains Fuse. For whatever reason, I'm so much more effective on him than any other champ. I can do an ok Bloodhound, but my style isn't to really run in and gun, so I've also been playing a bit of Gibralter to mixed results. My best guy's definitely Fuse tho, to the point where I can't fucking figure out how to nade with any other char lmao

QooApp's the easiest way for sure I think. You can most likely find an .apk file somewhere out there, maybe asking around the official discord, but it's possible you might have to manually dl the .apk everytime you want to update.

Changing the locale should work too as long as your google play store reflects that

There are ppl that like the Apple OS? I thought it was horseshit. I don't get what it actually does over a better, more flexible design. It's good when you use like 2-3 programs ever and you don't open multiple windows per program, but the moment you try to manage multiple windows, you wonder why you're not using a Windows instead.

Apple products in general are for like ultra casual usage though. If you're not using your computer for a Youtube machine, there's really no reason to get Apple. I had to use it for programming work for about 3 years, thought it was the biggest horseshit OS I've ever had the pleasure of using.

Honestly even Mario Golf looked good. Not every showing was good but goddamn who cares when there were so much good shit. Oh, and Kazuya in Smash. They also finally bringing Fatal Frame Wii U to Switch. Wew

Man SMTV looked soooooo freaking good. Metroid Dread was just perfect, and making it the semi-horror that Metroid is supposed to be is absolutely the way to go. BOTW2 next year is honestly as good as we were gonna get I think. Damn COVID. I guess Warioware tends to either be really fun or really not enough, so I'm curbing my enthusiasm there. I haven't played MH Stories 1, but I'm kinda craving an RPG so I might dive into 2.

What was missing though... weird lack of NMH3, even though that should be coming out within this year. No Bayo 3, which is worrying, but SMTV shows the dream is always alive. Nothing from Monolith (well aside from BOTW2 obvs) was a bit sad but SMTV made up for it. No Fire Emblem, which is actually a good thing imo, cuz whatever is coming should be good the more time passes. I'm hoping for an FE4 remake. There's been a disturbing lack of genocide and incest in the video game world

All in all though, really sad for fans of non-Nintendo stuff in this sad E3, but I'm coming out of it content. Man can't believe SMTV is real.

Alchemy Stars out in less than 24 hrs. Pre-dl available in several forms, one being QooApp which you should use to get the global version. Please don't download the US version as they've already been shown to do some shady shit, and you get less free shit for like no reason. They made some jank ass method available that requires you to bind something or another, but don't bother with all that and just go for the Global version. It'll have an english version available so yeah really no reason to get screwed for no reason

Fenebeths are alright too cuz you actually get flirty dialogues. Was kinda meh about Saya's, don't really remember several of the ones I know I did a few dates for. Maki's is just the best because Maki is such a fucking cute specimen. Kiraya's is good cuz she basically forgot that she's a girl, and Diana's are good because her VA is just like perfect for her, and I can sorta visualize how her VA would've handled the dates. She has this weird dreamy voice acting and basically an ultra holy but also extremely self-aware personality. Miyuki's are alright too but they're a bit too samey and non-flirty for my tastes. If anything she was way flirtier and cooler in the main story. The main character seems to kinda semi-lust for her in particular lmao, mostly cuz there's like a random dream segment where he relents to Miyuki's advances

Characters that I am waiting for a Date function with: Lunar, Kichou, any of the Zombieland Saga girls, though I heavily doubt that'll happen

I played Melee like 2-3 years ago, thought it was the most clunky shit I've played. My friends taught me all the techs, but I didn't understand why I needed to be so fucking busy with my controls for every little dumb movement when I could just play Ultimate. Meanwhile I don't exactly like any of the top tier characters either. Marth was probably the most fun I guess

Competitive Melee is cool to watch, but it's also been like decades. I feel like I've seen it all before. It's been years since I legit saw something that I felt like was fresh

This is how I feel. I haven't been playing since May 29th and won't get an opportunity to play again until the 15th. I did hit plat 3 from nothing and finished in plat 4 last split of season 8. The only reason was because one of the guys I play with is a lot of fun, but he has a gold mentality and I can't carry him through plat. He won't play trios though, because he wants the toughest opponents. Which I can respect. He just always costs me all my points.

Lmao luckily the 2 ppl I usually play with are both pretty good, though one of them hasn't reached Plat yet purely out of a lack of interest and having other games he'd rather be playing usually. I think the trio can easily reach diamond with enough time but time is tricky for us because I'm in the US and they're in Britain. Ping is also a bit of a problem, and I usually have to play with like highly fluctuating 180-300+ ping, but the game thankfully handles high ping pretty well.

But man I'm really bad at close ranged fights. I'm getting better with Eva, but I usually end up not having it when it matters because I'd rather snipe. Probably need to work out when I want to swap

Watched the finals. Was pretty sick, but I was actually rooting for My Little Phony cuz they had a cool underdog story. Felt a bit like the lobby was much more wary of their Revenant comp, so they haven't ever been able to eliminate more than 1 team before somebody chased them down to death.

But definitely couldn't see the ending coming

My highest rank is still plat 4 though, but I think with enough motivation and practice, I can reach diamond
