I love the god summoning keepsakes, usually because I think duos can really bust the game open.

Eternal Rose and Frostbitten Horn are usually what I equip, because Aphrodite and Demeter are both just really solid on average.

I tend to ignore this row the most. Old Spiked Collar and Lucky Tooth are great when you're still new to the game. Coin Purse is useful if you have absolutely nothing else to grab and you need it. Pierced Butterfly is fine, but I generally enjoy Lambent Plume if I'm doing a one-keepsake-only run.

Bone Hourglass is the way to go. The buffs are so good and it's honestly the best place to spend your obols. I typically like taking it for Elysium, but if I got a particularly good run, I'd keep it on for Styx too. All the other keepsakes, I don't have any real opinion on.

Poseidon has a pretty odd set of duos. Not a lot of synergy with Poseidon boons. Sea Storm and Blizzard Shot are the main ones that work great with Poseidon. Blizzard Shot turns the pretty okay Flood Shot into a boss killer, especially if you have Stygian Soul or Greater Recall. Sea Storm, of course, is really great since it applies to essentially all Poseidon boons and it throws in really strong Zeus boons on top of them.

I guess I'll go with Styx because I think it's an interesting way to have a final biome. Also the sub-chambers are really fun to just wreck house in.

In terms of aesthetics, Elysium easily wins though.

If you get Exclusive Access in Tartarus or Asphodel, it's the best boon in the game.

I generally like Festive Fog more than Hangover for Dionysus builds. Scintillating Feast is a little stronger than Ice Wine. If going for a Hangover build, Low Tolerance is probably best.

I have so much nostalgia for PM1. While I think TTYD improves on a lot, I just find myself having a better time with PM1.

Persona 4 probably slipped from my favorite game back down to second though just because Persona 5's battle system abuses it so badly that it is hard to think of 4 as my favorite game of all time when its sequel is just so much better in that regard, even though I still think 4 > 5

I used to think exactly this, but I think P5 Strikers goes a really long way to make the P5 cast feel more like a group of friends. Definitely feel much better on P5 as a result.

All aspects are good for different reasons, even Zagreus. I like Talos because it gives some range to this weapon.

Getting Stubborn Roots ups your chances of beating Hades by a lot, so I'm probably going to pick it. Merciful End is very nice and Parting Shot/Lightning Phalanx are good for cast builds.

Unshakable Mettle might be the worst duo. I think the only things that stun you are the hands in Tartarus and the jars against Hades?

I finally caught up on all the write-ups. Really loved the write-ups and the project as a whole.

2019 movies were pretty solid and kinda reminds me of 2014. Just a bunch of really unique projects. My top 2019 movie is probably Parasite, but Marriage Story is a close second.

Artemis has a really great set of duos, but her usual set of boons aren't that great. For instance, I would never do a primary Artemis build. Artemis would always be secondary or tertiary...sometimes only to get the duo boon. If I were to do primary Artemis...I guess I would pick Heart Rend? Weak is easy to trigger, Aphrodite has a lot of great boons herself, and it synergizes well with Artemis boons.

That said, I think I'll give my vote to Crystal Clarity. Demeter's an amazing primary boon and Crystal Clarity turns the OK Demeter cast to a GOAT cast. It's also really easy to improve it with Glacial Glare and Arctic Blast.

Yeah, but it is a game that has the Zelda aesthetic and that goes a long way. It's one of the things that make Nintendo games the way they are. They just have a certain brand and aesthetic that few other series can replicate and it absolutely makes the game a lot more enjoyable than a copycat would.

BOTW is probably my favorite Zelda game and I'm not really big into most open-world games. I do think BOTW deserves credit with how it starts you off. I love tutorial island and the first adventure out into the world. It does get a little same-y after beating all the Divine Beasts, though.

I mean that makes a lot of sense when you think about all the great movies that have come after it. At the time, it WAS "Eh, it's alright" because it was middle of the pack of the first dozen movies. A dozen better movies later, it's now much nearer the bottom of the list.

On top of this, I think a big thing is time dilation. Since MCU movies come out every year or so, it's kinda easy to forget the overall continuity. Being able to bingewatch all of it in a few weeks, you begin to see 1) how AOU really stacks to the rest of the series and 2) how many storylines AOU drops.

When AOU first came out, I was like "ugh that was annoying" but it's only upon rewatching multiple movies that I realize it was bad.

Wind Waker dungeons are pretty whatever, yeah. They're actually extremely linear aside from the Wind Temple. I'll give some credit to Temple of the Gods, but that's it.

It's been way too long since I played Twilight Princess. Even then, I think I would still give best overall dungeons to Skyward Sword. I just can't stand TP's aesthetics, while I love SS's. I also love the Divine Beasts in BOTW.

People like Hela in Thor: Ragnarok compared to most other movies, because she counteracts all of the humor in the movie. It's not so much she's an outstanding villain as it is that she brings stakes to a movie.

Thor: Ragnarok is amazing. Probably my most watched movie and IMO the second mass-appeal movie after GOTG1. I can recommend Thor: Ragnarok to any of my friends and I know it'll be a good time.

• I just watched Infinity Wars again. While I love it, I can definitely see that it's...problematic for some. GOTG1 is probably #1 simply because I feel like there are less flaws in the movie.
• Next one is probably Endgame. The last third is undeniably great, but the first third and second third is more of a question. Once Endgame is ranked, I'm excited to read the reviews. I feel like, in some ways, Endgame came and went without little critical analysis.
