Ive been playing FFRK for the past few months and have not yet given into spending real money. My current approach in general to microtransactions is that I will allow myself to buy things if what Im getting is known, but will not buy random stuff.

Yeah OK sync is the main thing Id like from B3 as well. The main downside though compared to B4 is that Id have to make the decision to draw now, whereas having B4 as the plan still leaves open the possibility of doing all five pulls on B5 (from which almost everything seems useful for me besides a few Galuf dupes)

(He can't really pull his shit on ShB S ranks, and people do indeed refuse to raise him if he dies on one of those)

Then, I agree most of the best USBs not in the shop are healer USBs. So that's a good choice unless there's one you know you want for a specific reason (like I'm considering Quina so they can be more useful as a physical support, it's probably that or Aria's newest USB.)

Yeah it's mostly RNG (unless more people are manually queuing for one or the other, but most people in any MSQ run will be there for their roulette and the manual queues should presumably be roughly balanced as running it without needing to for the MSQ or with a moogle tome event up is an insane waste of time).

In "better" news, SCOTUS just rejected a petition by a realtors' association to lift the federal eviction moratorium. 5-4. Roberts, Kavanaugh, and the 3 liberals denied them. I say "better" because Kavanaugh goes out of his way to write a concurrence saying he agrees with the realtors' association here but the moratorium expires on July 31 so he thinks it'll just solve itself in a month no need to complicate things by abruptly lifting it now when it'll be gone in a month. So despite voting to keep it in place, it's really only by technicality - in substance he would have axed it. So there's basically zero chance of getting it extended now because Kavanaugh is straight-up saying he'll kill it if the Biden Administration extends it... so it'd be up to Congress and this wouldn't be an issue you could throw under reconciliation I think so... filibuster.

I actually think this one was right since the CDC claiming the authority to enact the moratorium is a pretty huge claim of executive power for something that really isn't in their purview, and it seems like it could be very dangerous if other agencies used similar logic in future. The authority to do something like that really should lie with Congress.

Today's cases suck of course.

Wait so did a judge not sign off on this non-prosecution agreement? If they didnt then I no longer think the courts decision is reasonable; a DA alone should not have the power to sign away any possibility of prosecution. I can maybe see disallowing Cosbys testimony in the case, but not full immunity from charges.

The article says the sentence was three to ten years. He's two months and change away from his 2018 conviction. He's more or less served the minimum sentence and his brand is irreparably damaged. There's not much more you can do to him except let him die in prison, and really, what difference would that make?

Man, it feels very weird to start sharding 5* stuff. I held off for a while buying more inventory space because its really annoying to find out what SBs you have without the equipment still around, but realistically I know I will never equip a single one of these 5* weapons.

My understanding is that Mog AASB1 is quite good, but not best SB in the game level like his AASB2 (I just got the AASB2 myself from the select though, so this is not from first-hand experience)

Ultimecia has both waters and an artifact, though I actually could buy a third artifact for Alphinaud (the only reason hes using a 7* +wind instead of Ultimecia is that its a book). I dont have very many artifact stones and have a lot of teams to build with no artifacts though, so Id prefer not to triple-down on wind magic if I can avoid it.

I did manage to beat Madeen with a half-assed dark team I threw together (with Golbez doing nothing besides chain-holding and Alphinaud pretending hes a dark summoner). Hopefully replacing my Evrae will help non-negligibly with Titan...!

Ugh, I had managed to get through Titan P1 using none of my cap breaks and then found out that with no chain up my Ultimecia's level 3 brave ability doesn't quite one shot the walls

The second to last elimination is very close and Garcia gained a lot from RCV reallocation; seems very plausible that Garcia ends up winning if she beats Wiley in the top 3 but that Wiley loses to Adams by a sizable margin if she beats Garcia in the top 3.

(I also find it very weird that theyre releasing results for the scenario where the uncounted absentee ballots dont exist; its interesting, but seems guaranteed to make people mad if the results flip!)
