The economy is a great reason actually. On top of that, thanks to operation warpspeed, we got a vaccine much MUCH faster than we otherwise would have. Those reasons for me personally was enough to vote for him over Biden.

I just looked at the rest of the post. The next next gen versions of GTAV have graphical enhancements and a bunch of little tweaks to online aaaaand that's it. Unless they're keeping some good singleplayer stuff secret. At least Bethesda made their next next gen graphiacl enhancements for Skyrim free.

I hope it's good, but I can't pretend I have faith. Pretty much every game they've ever made has been amazing but so many key figures have left. I don't care how much they fuck up the online portion anymore, as long as the singleplayer is decent.

It was bad well before then.

On the one hand, speculation and theorizing in stuff like Wandavision or w.e. was more fun than the actual show itself.

I always see Wandavision given as an example of "ugh, people spent too much time theorising and were disappointed when their theories were wrong".

And that probably is true for some people but I think the ending was boring regardless. The rest of the show had some really interesting drama and intrigue, then the ending was just standard Marvel superhero stuff.

The song of ice and fire community would have died eight years ago if it wasn't for fan theories.

Speaking of screen size, I saw a picture of the Xbox Series S attachable screen and was baffled. Text and UI stuff is already too small on my medium sized TV. Trying to play those games on a screen barely bigger than the Switch sounds well, literally unplayable.

I like music when I'm trying to sleep but it has to be super quiet, like I have to concentrate to listen. Any louder it'll just be distracting.

The constant lying is what irks me. It is Trumpian. He just rolls out figures and claims that aren't true. He's corrected, told that he should stop, then just keeps doing it anyway. And his cabinet, fucking hell. They'd be incompetent in an average office, let alone ruling the UK.

Was that a PS3 thing or something? I've had hundreds of hours on multiple saves on 360/unmodded Xbox One versions and never had a corrupted save.

In Let's Go and SwSh, Pikachu and Eevee used clips more like the anime, ie just saying their names. But now it's back to "garbled static" for them both for some reason.

I had some vegan mozzarella sticks a few weeks ago and to think about them now makes me instantly nauseous. I didn't think they were bad at the time but thinking back on them, oh god, it makes me close to gagging.

I think the way to go with a plant based diet is to just make your own stuff and avoid any imitation meat/cheese. Milk alternatives are fine. But I've tried so many "vegan" meals that have seitan or something in it and my brain just screams "no, don't eat it, it's not food".

I feel like pokemon would do just fine given the Zelda treatment. Have characters make grunts, "hey"s, "ooh"s, "huh?"s, etc without having them voice every line. That way whenever a character speaks, you get a feel for who's talking and how they're feeling. Then we'd be spared shitty kiddie voices and a million hours of squeaky anime girl voice and we wouldn't hafta listen to "Thanks for coming to the pokecenter, come again any time" four hundred times.

The player character in Legends Arceus actually does make these kinds of grunts when using the roll move. And that's the only place in the entire game that there's any voice at all.

Every game gets massive praise? The backlash against SwSh was super fierce. Barely anyone gave that game massive praise. The only Pokemon games I can think of that got near universal praise at release were Gold/Silver/Crystal, HeartGold/SoulSilver, and Platinum. Every other release has been met with either criticism or a resounding shrug.

The town is one of the places where I don't mind the lack of dialogue.

Also BOTW did not limit dialogue to "when it was important". There were 6~ towns with scores of NPCs with loads of dialogue, and none of it voiced. Not that it makes it okay for Pokemon, but I don't understand why you'd excuse Zelda for the exact same thing.
