For the last year & a half, people haven't been doing a lot of things that cost money (or they've done them a lot less) like going out to eat, going to movies, sports, concerts, etc. If all you do is sit at home & watch Netflix, you need less money. I'd guess a lot of younger people have moved back in with their parents too. Or, in the case of some of my friends, one spouse got a raise so the other decided to be a stay at home parent & quit their job. |

I would love to be into soccer, but the intentional dives for penalty kicks and that being more or less the driving force of the game, completely ruins it for me. It's pathetic to watch. I'm with you on this. Flopping ruins sports, it's made basketball worse over the last 20-30 years too. As far as overall physicality & athletic ability, it's hard to rate baseball compared to others. There's so much incredibly precise hand-eye coordination necessary more so than just raw speed & strength. But yes, there are some fat guys who can be really great hitters or pitchers who otherwise would not be considered good athletes. |
